Ավարտվեց Մյունխենի Անվտանգության համաժողովը։ Վերջին օրը նվիրված էր Աֆրիկայի և Մերձավոր Արևելքի խնդիրներին։ Կրկին շատ հետաքրքիր քննարկումներ էին։ Այսօրվա հիմնական զեկուցողները, թերևս բացի Իսրայելի պաշտպանության նախարար Մոշե Յաալոնից, հանդես էին գալիս Արևմուտքի շահերի դիրքերից։ Իսրայելը Մերձավոր Արևելքում լուրջ դժգոհություններ ունի։ Առաջին հերթին, իհարկե, նրանք դեմ են Իրանի ազդեցության մեծացմանն ու պաշտոնական Թեհրանի հետ Արևմուտքի համագործակցության վերականգնմանը։ Յաալոնը մեղադրանքներ առաջադրեց նաև Թուրքիային, որը, ըստ նրա խոսքերի, Մերձավոր Արևելքում բացառապես սեփական շահն է պահում։

Հետաքրքիր էին նաև Մերձավոր Արևելքից եկած մասնակիցների ելույթները։ Բնականաբար, նրանց բացարձակ մեծամասնությունը ցանկանում է ձերբազատվել Ասադի իշխանությունից, բայց քիչ չէին նաև դեպի Արևմուտք ուղղված քննադատությունները։ Վերջիններս նշել են, որ իրենց տարածաշրջանում չեն զգացել ԱՄՆ առաջատար դերը ու Վաշինգտոնի կողմից նախկինում առաջարկված անվտանգության մեխանիզմների արդյունավետությունը։

Գրեթե նույն մեղադրանքներն ամերիկացիները լսեցին նաև եվրոպացի գործընկերներից։ Մյունխենի Անվտանգության Համաժողովի մասնակիցների գովասանքին արժաացավ գերմանացի խորհրդարանական Նորբերտ Ռոթթգենի կողմից ներկայացված այն չորս դասերը, որոնք պիտի սերտի Եվրոպան։

Դրանցից առաջինն այն մասին էր, որ Մերձավոր Արևելքի խնդիրներն այլևս չեն սահմանափակվում այդ տարածաշրջանով և դրանց ազդեցությունը տարածվում է նաև Եվրոպայի վրա։ Երկրորդը և հիմնականն այն է, որ Եվրոպան պիտի ինքնուրույն լուծի իր անվտանգությանը վերաբերող խնդիրները՝ հրաժարվելով ԱՄՆ֊ի կողմից առաջարկվող մեխանիզմներից։ Վերջինս առաջարկում էր նաև Ռուսաստանի դեմ համաեվրոպական միասնական դիրքորոշում ձևավորել։

Ընդհանրապես, հետաքրքիր էր նկատել, որ չնայած Ռուսաստանի դեմ ուղղված քննադատությունների մեծ ալիքին, այսօրվա բանախոսների մեծ մասը կարծիք հայտնեց, որ Սիրիայում հնարավոր կլիներ խուսափել ողբերգական զարգացումներից, եթե ժամանակին կարողանային պայմանավորվել պաշտոնական Մոսկվայի հետ։ Այսօր շատերը ցավով նշեցին, որ ժամանակին, երբ Ռուսաստանի դիրքերն այդքան էլ ուժեղ չէին Մերձավոր Արևելքում, նրան անտեսեցին, իսկ հիմա արդեն ուշ է, քանի որ Ռուսաստանն այդ տարածաշրջանի ամենաազդեցիկ կողմերից մեկն է և ինքն է սկսել բանակցությունների պայմաններ թելադրել։

Դե ինչ, ընկերներ, հուսով եմ՝ շատ չձանձրացրի։ Համագումարն իսկապես հետաքրքիր էր, բովանդակալից, կարծում եմ՝ առաջիկայում դեռ կանդրադառնամ այստեղ տեսած֊լսած մտքերին և կփորձեմ ներկայացնել տպավորություններս նաև հոդվածների տեսքով։
