«Ես ոչ մի դեպքում չեմ ցանկանում նվաստացնել նիհար աղջիկներին: Եթե նրանք բնության կողմից օժտված են մաշկի տակ գոյություն ունեցող ճարպի շերտի բացակայությամբ, դա հիանալի է: Բայց յուրաքանչյուր մարդ իր մարմնի կառուցվածքն ու առանձնահատկություններն ունի: Եվ շատ սարսափելի է, երբ երիտասարդ աղջիկներն իրենց տանջում են դիետաներով այն աստիճանի, որ վնաս են հասցնում իրենց առողջությանը», – ասում է Բարբին:

«Առաջին հերթին գեղեցիկ տեսք է ունենում առողջ մարմինը: Իսկ երբ չափազանց հյուծված մոդելները սկսում են ուշագնաց լինել հենց բեմահարթակի վրա, դա արդեն գեղեցիկ չէ, այլ բարբարոսություն»:

«Շատերն են ասում, որ ավելորդ քաշը վնասում է առողջությանը: Եվ դա իրոք այդպես է: Բայց դրա հետ մեկտեղ, ոչ ոք երբեք չի բարձրաձայնում, որ չափից ավել նիհարությունը պակաս վնասակար չէ առողջության համար»:
