Պրիմորիեում, տարածաշրջանային մանկական կլինիկական թիվ 1 հիվանդանոցի բժիշկները փրկում են 12-ամյա տղայի, ով ստամոքսի էրոզիա էր զարգացրել գազավորված ըմպելիքների կանոնավոր օգտագործման պատճառով: Երեխան հիվանդանոց է ընդունվել արյունոտ փսխումներով՝ Կոկա-Կոլա խմելուց հետո:
Էնդոսկոպիայի բաժանմունքի բժիշկների խոսքով՝ հետազոտության ժամանակ տղայի ստամոքսը արձագանքել է էնդոսկոպի աննշան հպումներին՝ բազմաթիվ միկրոարյունահոսություններով։ Պարզվել է, որ դեռահասը երկար ժամանակ գազավորված ըմպելիք է խմել։
Բժիշկները բացատրել են, որ հայտնի ըմպելիքը պարունակում է ֆոսֆորական թթու: Էնդոսկոպիստ Մարգարիտա Լեմզայի խոսքով՝ այս նյութը նույնիսկ օգտագործվում է արտադրության մեջ՝ ժանգը լուծելու համար: Եթե ստամոքսը առողջ է, պատռվածք կարող է չառաջանալ, բայց նույնիսկ ամենափոքր ստամոքս-աղիքային խնդիրը կարող է լուրջ հետևանքների հանգեցնել: Դեռահասը այժմ երկարատև բուժման և գաստրոէնտերոլոգի հսկողության տակ է:
Հիվանդանոցի մասնագետները նույնպես տագնապ են հնչեցնում չինական հայտնի խորտիկի՝ լատյաոյի վերաբերյալ: Բժիշկները այս սննդի և գազավորված ըմպելիքի համադրությունը նկարագրում են որպես «ստամոքսի միջուկային խառնուրդ»: Բաժնի բուժքույր Յուլիա Ռազորենովան նշում է, որ երեխաները ավելի ու ավելի հաճախ են ընդունվում ցավերով այս արագ խորտիկները ուտելուց հետո:
Ավելին, էնդոսկոպիստները նկատում են մի անհանգստացնող միտում. պանկրեատիտով և նույնիսկ ենթաստամոքսային գեղձի նեկրոզով հոսպիտալացված շատ դեռահասներ, երբ հարցնում են՝ «Ի՞նչ կերաք», միշտ նույն պատասխանն են տալիս. «Երեկ գնացինք KFC»։
Բժիշկները կոչ են անում ծնողներին մեծ ուշադրություն դարձնել իրենց երեխաների սննդակարգին: Անառողջ սնունդը (արգելված միրգը քաղցր է) արգելելու փոխարեն նրանք խորհուրդ են տալիս դեռահասներին բացատրել, որ արագ սնունդը միայն կարճաժամկետ էներգիա է տալիս՝ զրկելով օրգանիզմին աճի համար անհրաժեշտ շինանյութերից և հանգեցնելով անդառնալի առողջական հետևանքների:
