«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Գրեթե յուրաքանչյուր իտալական գինի ունի իր սեփական, հաճախ բավականին երկար պատմությունը: Դա վերաբերում է նաև «Ռուֆֆինոյին»՝ հրաշալի ըմպելիք, որը ծագել է Տոսկանայում 19-րդ դարում։

Դրա ստեղծողներն են եղբայրներ Իլարիո և Լեոպոլդո Ռուֆֆինոները, որոնք 1877 թվականին հիմնադրել են մի ընկերություն, որն, ի վերջո, վերածվել է աշխարհի ամենահաջողակ գինեգործարաններից մեկին: Սկզբում այն փոքր գինեգործարան էր՝ «Ռուֆֆինո եղբայրներ» անվամբ, որը, չնայած իր համեստ չափսերին, մասնագիտացած էր բարձրորակ գինիների արտադրության մեջ: Այսօր այն կորպորացիա է, որը տիրապետում է մոտ 1800 ակր խաղողի այգիների, որոնք գտնվում են ոչ միայն Տոսկանայում, այլ նաև շատ ավելի հեռու՝ ամբողջ Իտալիայում։

Հետաքրքիր է, որ Ռուֆֆինո եղբայրները սկզբում գինու մասնագետներ չէին, բայց երբ որոշեցին, որ պետք է կենտրոնանան միայն նուրբ գինիների վրա, լուրջ վերաբերվեցին բիզնեսին և փորձեցին ի սկզբանե պահպանել իրենց հեղինակությունը: Գինին արտադրվում էր ոչ միայն ընկերության սեփական խաղողի այգիներից, այլ նաև տոսկանական այլ խաղողագործներից գնված խաղողից: Գինին հասունացվում էր, խառնվում և միայն դրանից հետո շշալցվում: Հինգ տարի անց Chianti Ruffino-ն առաջին ոսկե մեդալի արժանացավ Միլանի ցուցահանդեսում: Մի փոքր անց՝ 1885 թվականին, այն նաև ոսկե մեդալի արժանացավ Անտվերպենի հեղինակավոր ցուցահանդեսում: Այս ամենը ամրապնդեց «Ռուֆֆինոյի» հեղինակությունը՝ որպես բարձրորակ Chianti գինիների արտադրող։

Հետաքրքիր է այն, որ 20-րդ դարում այս ուշագրավ խմիչքի պատմությունը շարունակեցին այլ եղբայրներ՝ Ֆրանչեսկո և Իտալո Ֆոլոնարիները: Այս զույգը, որը ծնունդով Բրեշիայից էր (Հյուսիսային Իտալիա), 1913 թվականին գնեց բիզնեսը տարեց Ռուֆֆինո եղբայրներից: Ֆոլոնարի եղբայրները գինեգործների երրորդ սերունդն էին, և նրանց ձեռնարկատիրական ոգու և փորձի շնորհիվ Ruffino ընկերությունը դարձավ գինեգործության միջազգային առաջատար: Հետագայում Ռուֆֆինոյի բոլոր սեփականատերերը ձգտել են ավելացնել գինու արտադրությունը, այդ թվում՝ նոր խաղողի այգիներ ձեռք բերելով: Հետագայում Ֆոլոնարիի սերունդները ձեռք բերեցին գերազանց հողեր Կիանտի Կլասիկոյում և Իտալիայի այլ շրջաններում: Արդյունքում «Ռուֆֆինո» ապրանքանիշը ներկայում իտալացի ամենամեծ հողատերերից մեկն է:
