Մոզդոկի բնակիչ Արտյոմ Աբաչովը փրկել է հինգերորդ դասարանի աշակերտի, որը քաղաքային այգում ընկել էր սառույցի մեջ, հայտնում է Հյուսիսային Օսիայի ԱԻ նախարարության մամուլի ծառայությունը։

Կնոջ հետ Հաղթանակի զբոսայգում զբոսնելիս Արտեմը նկատեց սառցակալած լճի մոտ խաղացող երեխաների։ Արտեմը նրանց զգուշացրեց և ասաց լքել վտանգավոր տարածքը, բայց երեխաները անտեսեցին նրան։

Շուտով տղաներից մեկը, հասնելով լճակի կենտրոն, ընկավ սառույցի մեջ։ Լսելով ճիչ, Արտեմը շտապեց օգնության։ Սառույցի վրայով վազելը չափազանց դժվար էր. նա նույնպես սկսում էր ընկնել։ Հետո տղամարդը սողաց՝ փորձելով բաշխել իր քաշը, բայց սառույցը շարունակում էր ճաքճքել և կոտրվել նրա տակ։ Սառույցը սեփական մարմնով կոտրելով՝ Արտեմը հասավ տղային և քաշեց նրան ափ։

Դեպքի վայրում օգնություն են ցուցաբերել նաև այլ անցորդներ. նրանք օգնել են երեխայի հագուստից սառցե ջուրը քամել։ Արտեմի կինը վերցրել է տղայի հեռախոսահամարը, զանգահարել նրա ծնողներին և պարզել նրա հասցեն։ Փրկարարը երեխային տարել է տուն և հանձնել ընտանիքին։

Հյուսիսային Օսեթիա-Ալանիայի Հանրապետության արտակարգ իրավիճակների նախարարությունը ընդգծում է, որ հենց Արտյոմ Աբաչովի վճռական գործողություններն են կանխել ողբերգությունը։ Եթե նա մոտակայքում չլիներ և քաջություն չցուցաբերեր, հետևանքները կարող էին ծանր լինել։
