Բեյրութի հարավային Շիյահ և Հարեթ Հորեյք թաղամասերի բնակիչները զանգվածաբար լքում են իրենց տները՝ Իսրայելի կողմից Բեյրութում «Հըզբոլլահ»-ի ենթակառուցվածքները ոչնչացնելու սպառնալիքի պատճառով։
ТАСС-ի տվյալներով՝ մարդիկ հեռանում են ավտոմեքենաներով և քայլում հարավային մայրուղով դեպի քաղաքի կենտրոն։ Աննախադեպ խցանումները հանգեցրել են լայնածավալ խցանումների, որոնք կաթվածահար են արել երթևեկությունը։
Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակի ներկայացուցիչ Ավիխայ Էդրին, X-ում արաբերենով տարածված հայտարարության մեջ պահանջել է, որ բնակիչներն անհապաղ լքեն խիտ բնակեցված շիական թաղամասերը։ Նա զգուշացրել է նրանց Իսրայելի կողմից սպասվող օդային հարվածի մասին և խորհուրդ է տվել շարժվել դեպի հյուսիս՝ Բեյրութ-Տրիպոլի մայրուղով և արևելք՝ դեպի Մետն լեռնային շրջան։
Նմանատիպ ծանուցումներ են ուղարկվել Բեյրութի հարավային ծայրամասերի այլ թաղամասերի, մասնավորապես՝ Բուրջ էլ-Բարաջնե և Հադաս արվարձանների լիբանանցի բնակիչներին։ Էդրին նշել է, որ իսրայելական զինվորականները կտեղեկացնեն բնակիչներին, թե երբ է անվտանգ վերադառնալ Բեյրութ։
Լիբանանի առողջապահության նախարարության տվյալներով՝ վերջին երեք օրերի ընթացքում Լիբանանում Իսրայելի իրականացրած հարվածների հետևանքով զոհերի թիվը հասել է 77-ի, վիրավորվել է 527 մարդ։ Մարտական գործողությունների պատճառով երկրի հարավից տեղահանվել է ավելի քան 90 հազար մարդ։
