ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի հատկապես կարևոր գործերի քննության գլխավոր վարչության սեփականության դեմ ուղղված հանցագործությունների վարչությունում իրականացվող բազմադրվագ քրեական վարույթի նախաքննության ընթացքում պարզվել է, որ տարբեր անձինք կամ խմբեր ներկայանում են որպես վստահելի ներդրումային կազմակերպություններ կամ մասնագետներ՝ առաջարկելով բարձր եկամտաբերություն խոստացող ծրագրեր, սակայն նման գործունեության նպատակն իրականում քաղաքացիներին մոլորեցնելն է և նրանց ֆինանսական միջոցներին տիրանալը։
Մասնավորապես՝ տարբեր սոցիալական հարթակներում՝ «Facebook», «Telegram» և այլն, տեղադրվում են ներդրում կատարելու միջոցով գումար աշխատելու վերաբերյալ գովազդներ՝ թողնելով հղում, որտեղ քաղաքացին լրացնում է իր անձնական տվյալները։ Դրանից հետո քաղաքացու հետ կապ են հաստատում օնլայն հեռահաղորդակցման միջոցներով՝ «WhatsApp», «Telegram» և այլ հավելվածներով, ներկայացնում եկամուտ ստանալու պայմանները՝ հիմնականում ստեղծելով օտարերկրյա կազմակերպություններում ստեղծված կեղծ ներդրումային հղումներով կայքեր, որտեղ քաղաքացին գրանցվում է, ստեղծում օգտահաշիվ, ստանում ֆիշինգային հղում, որտեղ օգտահաշիվը լիցքավորելու քողի տակ լրացնում է իր բանկային քարտի նույնականացման տվյալները՝ հանցագործներին հնարավորություն տալով հափշտակելու խոշոր և առանձնապես խոշոր չափերով դրամական միջոցներ:
Այսպիսով, Քննչական կոմիտեն քաղաքացիներին հորդորում է նմանատիպ գովազդներ կամ հաղորդագրություններ ստանալու դեպքում զերծ մնալ թելադրվող գործողությունները կատարելուց, ինչպես նաև այդ մասին հայտնել իրավապահ մարմիններին:
