Մարտի 2-ից ի վեր, ռազմական գործողությունների սրմանը զուգընթաց, առնվազն 83 երեխա է սպանվել և 254-ը՝ վիրավորվել։ Անցած շաբաթվա ընթացքում Լիբանանում օրական միջինը ավելի քան 10 երեխա է սպանվել, և մոտ 36 երեխա ստացել է տարբեր աստիճանի վնասվածքներ, հայտնում է ՅՈՒՆԻՍԵՖ-ը։
Վերջին 28 ամիսների ընթացքում Լիբանանում, ըստ հաղորդումների, սպանվել է 329 երեխա, իսկ 1,632-ը՝ վիրավորվել։ Միայն վերջին վեց օրվա ընթացքում սպանված երեխաների թիվն աճել է 25 տոկոսով՝ հասնելով սարսափելի ցուցանիշի՝ 412 զոհված երեխա։
Լիբանանում զանգվածային տեղահանումները ստիպել են մոտ 700,000 մարդու, այդ թվում՝ շուրջ 200,000 երեխայի, լքել իրենց տները՝ համալրելով նախորդ սրացումների հետևանքով արդեն իսկ տեղահանված տասնյակ հազարավորների շարքերը։
