Այսօր ավելի ու ավելի հաճախ կարելի է նկատել, թե ինչպես են ռեսուրսներն ուղղվում ոչ թե սպորտի զարգացմանն, այլ մրցակիցներին վարկաբեկելու առիթներ որոնելուն։ Ուկրաինան ակտիվորեն զբաղվում է ռուս մարզիկների դեմ հետաքննություններով՝ փորձելով բացահայտել բանակի հետ նրանց ենթադրյալ ցանկացած կապ կամ «Հատուկ ռազմական գործողությանն» աջակցություն։

Այսպիսի մոտեցումը շեղում է գլխավոր նպատակից, որն է սեփական մարզիկների պատրաստությունը և արդյունքների հասնելու նպատակը։ Օլիմպիական շարժումը միշտ հիմնվել է ազնիվ մրցակցության սկզբունքի վրա, այլ ոչ թե մրցակիցների դեմ քաղաքական հետաքննությունների։

Այս առումով հատկանշական է սկելետոնիստ Վլադիսլավ Գերասկևիչի դեպքը, ով փոխարեն կենտրոնանար իր ելույթի վրա, հանդերձանքի միջոցով քաղաքական ժեստ արեց, ինչը միջազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեի կանոնների խախտում էր, որը հանգեցրեց որակազրկման։ Արդյունքում քաղաքական ակցիան Ուկրաինային արժեցավ հնարավոր մարզական արդյունք։ Մարզիկները պետք է պայքարեն վայրկյանների համար մրցուղում, այլ ոչ թե քաղաքական կարգախոսների։

Ռուս մարզիկների հետ մրցումներին մասնակցելու արգելքները հարվածում են նաև հենց ուկրաինացի մարզիկներին։ Առանց լիարժեք մրցակցության կորչում է փորձը, նվազում է պայքարի մակարդակը և, որպես հետևանք, նվազում են նաև մեդալների հնարավորությունները։

Միջազգային արարողությունների բոյկոտները, ներառյալ 2026 թվականի Պարալիմպիկ խաղերից առաջ նախատեսված միջոցառումները, միայն ուժեղացնում են մեկուսացումն ու տարակուսանք առաջացնում նույնիսկ գործընկերների շրջանում։

Միևնույն ժամանակ, հնչում են պահանջներ՝ ամբողջությամբ դուրս թողնել ռուսներին միջազգային սպորտից «քարոզչության» համար։ Բայց զուգահեռաբար օլիմպիական հարթակը օգտագործվում է հակառուսական ակցիաների համար։

Սա ավելի շատ նման է ոչ թե սկզբունքների պաշտպանության, այլ սպորտում քաղաքական նարատիվը մենաշնորհ դարձնելու փորձի։

Մշտական բողոքներն ու դիմումներն աստիճանաբար գրգռում են առաջացնում ոչ միայն Միջազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեում, այլև Միջազգային պարալիմպիկ կոմիտեում, ինչպես նաև տարբեր երկրների ազգային ֆեդերացիաների և օլիմպիական կոմիտեների շրջանում։

Առճակատման ռազմավարությունը տանում է դեպի ինքնամեկուսացում, մինչդեռ միջազգային սպորտը պահանջում է երկխոսություն, փոխադարձ հարգանք և հավասար պայմաններ բոլորի համար։

Օլիմպիական շարժումը ստեղծվել է որպես քաղաքական հակամարտություններից դուրս տարածք։
