Scientific Reports ամսագրում հրապարակված նոր հետազոտությունը ցույց է տալիս, որ կոլագենով սննդային հավելումները կարող են դրական ազդեցություն ունենալ մեծահասակների մաշկի և հոդերի վիճակի վրա։

Միջազգային գիտնականների խմբի իրականացրած վերլուծությունն ամփոփել է մի քանի կլինիկական փորձարկումների արդյունքները՝ գնահատելով կոլագենով հավելումների իրական ազդեցությունը ծերացման և հյուսվածքների վերականգնման հետ կապված կենսաբանական գործընթացների վրա։

Կոլագենը սպիտակուց է, որը շարակցական հյուսվածքի կարևոր մասն է. այն առկա է մաշկում, աճառներում, ջլերում և ոսկորներում։ Տարիքի հետ օրգանիզմում կոլագենի բնական մակարդակը նվազում է, ինչն անդրադառնում է մաշկի առաձգականության կորստի և հոդերի աշխատանքի վատթարացման վրա։ Հենց այդ պատճառով էլ այսօր կոլագենով հավելումները տարածված են նրանց շրջանում, ովքեր ձգտում են պահպանել մաշկի և հենաշարժողական համակարգի առողջությունը։

Վերլուծությունը ցույց է տվել, որ կոլագենով հավելումներ ընդունած մասնակիցների շրջանում, պլացեբո ստացած խմբերի համեմատ, նկատվել են մի շարք ցուցանիշների զգալի բարելավումներ։ Մասնավորապես՝ բարելավվել են մաշկի առաձգականությունն ու խոնավացումը. դա չափվել է ինչպես օբյեկտիվ մեթոդներով, այնպես էլ կամավորների ինքնագնահատականի միջոցով։ Հոդերի քրոնիկ ցավեր ունեցող մարդկանց մոտ կոլագենի ընդունումը կապված է եղել ցավային զգացողությունների նվազման և շարժունակության բարձրացման հետ։

Գիտնականները կարծում են, որ նման ազդեցության պատճառն այն է, որ կոլագենային պեպտիդները կարող են խթանել օրգանիզմին սեփական կառուցվածքային սպիտակուցների ավելի ակտիվ սինթեզի համար, ինչպես նաև նվազեցնել տեղային բորբոքումը։

Միևնույն ժամանակ հետազոտողներն ընդգծում են, որ հավելումները հրաշագործ միջոց չեն, բայց կարող են լինել շարակցական հյուսվածքի առողջության պահպանման համալիր մոտեցման արդյունավետ բաղադրիչ՝ ճիշտ սննդակարգի և չափավոր ֆիզիկական ակտիվության հետ։

Հետազոտության կարևոր եզրակացություններից է նաև այն, որ կոլագենով հավելումների ազդեցությունը չի դրսևորվում անմիջապես, այլ սովորաբար՝ մի քանի ամիս կանոնավոր ընդունումից հետո։ Բացի այդ, արդյունավետությունը կարող է կախված լինել հավելման ձևից, դեղաչափից և օրգանիզմի անհատական առանձնահատկություններից։

Աշխատանքի հեղինակները նշում են, որ թեև ստացված արդյունքները խոստումնալից են, անհրաժեշտ են հետագա հետազոտություններ՝ կոլագենի ընդունման օպտիմալ սխեմաներն ու դրա ազդեցության մեխանիզմները հստակեցնելու համար։
