Ռուսաստանի տրանսպորտի նախարար Անդրեյ Նիկիտինը հայտարարել է, թե Ռուսաստանը Հայաստանի երկաթուղու կառավարման կոնցեսիան Ղազախստանին հանձնելու շուրջ բանակցություններ չի վարում։ Մարտի 23-ին Պուտին-Փաշինյան հեռախոսազրույցից հետո «Հայաստան» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Գառնիկ Դանիելյանը հայտարարել էր, թե, իր տեղեկություններով, քննարկվում է Հայկական երկաթուղին ղազախական ընկերությանը կոնցեսիոն կառավարման հանձնելու հարցը։ Օրեր անց էլ արդեն Փաշինյանը հայտարարել էր, թե Երևանը դեմ չէ Հայաստանի երկաթուղին ղազախական կոնցեսիոն կառավարման հանձնելու տարբերակին, եթե այդ հարցում համաձայնություն ձեռք բերվի Ռուսաստանի հետ։

Ըստ Նիկիտինի՝ իրենք չեն ծրագրում որևէ մեկին կոնցեսիա տալ, և Հայաստանի գործընկերներն էլ այդ հարցերը պաշտոնական մակարդակով չեն քննարկել իրենց հետ։ Փաստացի, ռուսական կողմը հերքում է հենց Փաշինյանի հայտարարությունը։ Հիշեցնենք՝ կոնցեսիոն կառավարումը 30 տարով է, կնքվել է 2008 թվականի փետրվարին՝ ևս 10 տարի երկարաձգելու իրավունքով։ 2028 թ․-ին հայկական կողմը կարող է միակողմանի լուծել պայմանագիրը։ Փաշինյանը ավելի վաղ առաջարկել էր երկաթուղիների կոնցեսիոն կառավարումը վաճառել Երևանի և Մոսկվայի բարեկամ որևէ երկրի։

Խոսվում էր տարբեր երկրների՝ Քաթարի, Բահրենի, Արաբական Միացյալ Էմիրությունների, հիմա էլ՝ Ղազախստանի մասին, և ռուսական կողմի այս նյարդային արձագանքը վկայում է, որ Ռուսաստանը բոլորովին էլ մտադիր չէ խաղալ հայկական, ինչպես նաև ամերիկյան կողմի կանոններով և շարունակելու է պաշտպանել իր կենսական շահերը։ Թե ինչ նոր քայլ կանի հայկական կողմը, պարզ չէ, բայց և սա լուրջ հետևանքներ է ունենալու Հայաստանի Հանրապետության համար։ Ընդ որում, հայկական կողմը սպասելու է մինչև հունիսի 7-ի ընտրությունները, ու եթե Փաշինյանին կրկին հաջողվի վերարտադրվել, ապա դրանից հետո իրադարձությունները կարող են գնալ չափազանց անդառնալի և ծանր ուղղությամբ։
