Ակտիվիստները պնդում են, որ ոստիկանությունը խանգարել է ձերբակալված ցուցարարներին թաքնվել հութիների բալիստիկ հրթիռի հարվածից այն բանից հետո, երբ ոստիկանները, ըստ տեղեկությունների, ձերբակալել են պատերազմի դեմ ընդվոող առնվազն 17 ցուցարարի Թել Ավիվում, տեղեկացրել է Times of Israel-ը։

Այսօր երեկոյան նկարահանված կադրերում երեւում է, թե ինչպես են մի քանի ձերբակալված ցուցարարներ գոռում Հաբիմա հրապարակի մոտ կայանած ավտոբուսից՝ ոստիկաններին կոչ անելով իրենց տանել հրապարակի տակ գտնվող մեծ թաքստոցը։

Դրա փոխարեն ոստիկանությունը, պնդում են ցուցարարները, հրամայել է, որ ավտոբուսը հեռանա այդ շրջանից, հենց որ հնչել են ազդանշանները, իսկ ձերբակալվածներին ձեռնաշղթաներով տարել են հարեւան շենքի պատուհաններ ունեցող սենյակ։

Բողոքի ակցիայի կազմակերպիչ Ալոն Լի Գրինը՝ ձերբակալված ցուցարարներից մեկը, պատմել է, որ ոստիկանությունն իրենց տարել է  չպաշտպանված վայր այն բանից հետո, երբ ազդանշանն արդեն լռել էր։

Այդ ընթացքում հարյուրավոր ցուցարարներ Հաբիմա հրապարակում իջել էին պահպանվող մեծ տարածք հրապարակի տակ եւ շարունակում էին վանկարկել կարգախոսներ՝ ոստիկանությանն անվանելով «հանցագործներ» եւ հակակառավարական գրություններով պաստառներ թափահարելով։

Ցուցարարների շահերը ներկայացնող փաստաբաններն ասում են, որ այսօր երեկոյան Թել Ավիվում կատարվել է 17 ձերբակալություն, սակայն ոստիկանությունը հայտնել է, որ նրանք բռնել են միայն 10 մարդ հանրային կարգը խախտելու կասկածանքով։
