Ապրիլի 4-ին՝ Ավագ շաբաթ օրը երեկոյան, մեր Տեր և Փրկիչ Հիսուս Քրիստոսի Հրաշափառ Սուրբ Հարության տոնի առիթով, Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի հանդիսապետությամբ, Միածնաէջ Մայր Տաճարում մատուցվեց Սուրբ և Անմահ Պատարագ: Այս մասին հայտնում են Մայր Աթոռից։

Պատարագիչն էր Մայր Աթոռի Արտաքին հարաբերությունների և արարողակարգի բաժնի տնօրեն Գերաշնորհ Տ. Նաթան արքեպիսկոպոս Հովհաննիսյանը: Մինչ Սուրբ Պատարագը կատարվեց Ճաշու երրորդ ժամերգությունը, ապա կարդացվեցին սուրբգրային ընթերցվածքներ, որից հետո Մայր Աթոռի չորս միաբան սարկավագներ ընթերցեցին Դանիել մարգարեի թուղթը:

Սրբազան արարողությանը ներկա էին Գերագույն հոգևոր խորհրդի անդամներ, Մայր Աթոռի բարերարներ, քաղաքական-հասարակական գործիչներ և բազում ուխտավոր հայորդիներ:

Նաթան արքեպիսկոպոսը, իր քարոզում անդրադառնալով Տիրոջ Հարության խորհրդին, ընդգծեց․ «Հարությունը վկայեց, որ մահը վերջը չէ, այլապես ինչպե՞ս պիտի արժևորվեր կյանքը։ Քրիստոնեությունը հաստատեց, որ մարդուն կյանքի տարիները տրվում են ոչ թե վատնելու, այլ որպեսզի մարդը իր հավիտենական կյանքի ճանապարհը կերտի։ ․․․Աստված իր միածին որդուն ուղարկեց աշխարհ ոչ թե դատելո՛ւ, այլ փրկելո՛ւ, ոչ թե պատժելու, այլ ճանապարհը ցույց տալու փրկության»։

Վերջում, Պատարագիչ Սրբազանը դիմելով ներկաներին, մաղթեց, որ Տիրոջ Հարության լույսը մշտապես հովանի լինի մեր ազգի աշխարհասփյուռ զավակներին և մեր հայրենիքին, որպեսզի Հարության շնչով ընթանանք հավիտենության ճանապարհով։

«Հիսուս Քրիստոսի Հարության ավետիսով մենք մեր աղոթքն ենք վերառաքում Հարուցյալ Փրկչին, որպեսզի մեզ բոլորիս տա հավատք և զորություն և կարողանանք այս երկրի վրա կերտել այն դրախտը, որը կդառնա յուրաքանչյուրիս հավիտենական կյանքի ճանապարհը», - նշեց Նաթան արքեպիսկոպոսը։

Սուրբ Պատարագի ավարտին Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը բարձրացավ Սուրբ Խորան և Սուրբ Սեղանի կանթեղից վառեց Տեր Հիսուս Քրիստոսին խորհրդանշող կենսատու մոմը, որը բաշխվեց հավատացյալներին:

Պատարագի սրբազան արարողությունից հետո Մայր Աթոռի միաբանությունը մեկտեղվեց Վեհարանում, ուր, նախագահությամբ Հայոց Հովվապետի, կատարվեց Սուրբ Հարության Տնօրհնեք:
