Անգլիայի գավաթի խաղարկության քառորդ եզրափակչում Լոնդոնի «Չելսին» սեփական հարկի տակ՝ «Սթեմֆորդ Բրիջ» մարզադաշտում, հնարավորություն չտվեց «Պորտ Վեյլի» պաշտպանությանը՝ տոնելով տպավորիչ հաղթանակ 7:0 հաշվով։
Լոնդոնցիները գրոհների տարափ սկսեցին հենց առաջին վայրկյաններից։ Արդեն 2-րդ րոպեին Յորել Հաթոն բացեց խաղի հաշիվը։ Շուտով Ժոաո Պեդրոն կրկնապատկեց այն, իսկ առաջին խաղակեսի ավարտին հյուրերի պաշտպան Ջորդան Գաբրիելի անհաջող գործողությունների արդյունքում գրանցվեց ինքնագոլ։
Երկրորդ խաղակեսում «Չելսին» շարունակեց իր բացարձակ գերիշխանությունը՝ հաշիվը հասցնելով խոշորի։ Հանդիպման վերջակետը դրեց Ալեխանդրո Գարնաչոն՝ մրցավարի կողմից ավելացված ժամանակում անվրեպ իրացնելով 11-մետրանոց հարվածը։
