Լրատվամիջոցների համար այսօր սոցիալական ցանցերը տեղեկատվության աղբյուր են. մասնավորապես «Ֆեյսբուքը» բերում է յուրահատուկ որակ: Ինչպես հաղորդում է«Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը նշել է  տեղեկատվական անվտանգության փորձագետ Սամվել արտիրոսյանը:

«Մեր օրերում շատ քչերն են ուշադրություն դարձնում մամուլի հաղորդագրություններին, մարդիկ նախընտրում են սոցցանցերը: Սոցցանցերը լավագուն միջոցը կարող են լինել և կապեր հաստատել նաև արտերկրի հետ: Քաղաքացիական՝ բլոգերային լրագրությանը զուգահեռ առաջ եկան սոցցանցերի հետ աշխատող խմբագիրներ: Մեզ մոտ այդ էվոլյուցիան բավականին, յուրահատուկ ձևով զարգացավ »,- ասաց տեղեկատվական անվտանգության փորձագետը:

Ըստ փորձագետի, սոցցանցերը շատ ակտիվ օգտագործվում են որպես տեղեկատվության աղբյուր, բայց թույլ է աղբյուրների հավաստիության ստուգումը:  Դրա հետևանքով շատ հաճախ ապատեղեկատվությունը ներթափանցում է տեղեկատվական դաշտ, որովհետև հիմնական խնդիրը մեզ մոտ ոչ թե նյութի աղբյուրի ստուգումն է, այլ նյութ գտնելը:  Նրա խոսքով՝ լրատվամիջոցները չեն ստուգում աղբյուրը, այդ պատճառով էլ կարելի է շատ հեշտ ապատեղեկատվություն տարածել, ինչը բավական հաճախ կարելի է տեսնել: Տեղեկատվությունը պետք է լրագրողի կողմից մշակվի: Ըստ նրա հայկական մեդիան աշխատում է եղեկատվոությունը  տարածել ներքին լսարանի համար և շատ քիչ է աշխատում արտերկրի լսարանի ուղղությամբ:

«Կոնֆլիկտային իրավիճակներում մարդիկ թվիթերն  օգտագործում են որպես ամենաօպերատիվ տեղեկատվության աղբյուր: Այդտեղ ներկայացված են պետական- քաղաքական կառույցները, ղեկավար այրերը: Կարելի է գտնել ականատեսների, և, ամենակարևորը, այնտեղ կարելի է գտնել բաց փնտրողական համակարգ, այդ պատճառով  լրագրողները թվիթերը օգտագործում են որպես գործիք»- ասաց Սամվել Մարտիրոսյանը:

 Ըստ նրա, Արևմուտքում հստակ տարբերակում կա դեղին մամուլի և լուրջ լրատվական կայքի միջև, իսկ Հայաստանում զատումը բավական դժվար է:
