Լյարդը մարդու օրգանիզմի ամենակարևոր «ֆիլտրերից» մեկն է․ այն մասնակցում է տոքսինների մաքրմանը, նյութափոխանակությանը և էներգիայի պահպանմանը։ Սակայն որոշ դեպքերում լյարդի աշխատանքը կարող է խանգարվել՝ և այդ մասին օրգանիզմը ազդանշաններ է տալիս։

1. Քրոնիկ հոգնածություն և թուլություն
Եթե մարդը երկար ժամանակ զգում է անբացատրելի հոգնածություն, նույնիսկ բավարար քնելուց հետո, դա կարող է կապված լինել լյարդի աշխատանքի դանդաղեցման հետ։ Օրգանիզմը դժվարությամբ է մշակում տոքսինները, ինչն էլ բերում է ընդհանուր թուլության զգացման։
2. Մաշկի և աչքերի դեղնավուն երանգ
Լյարդի խնդիրների դեպքում կարող է խանգարվել բիլիռուբինի մշակումը, ինչի հետևանքով մաշկը կամ աչքերի սպիտակ հատվածը ձեռք են բերում դեղնավուն երանգ։ Սա այն նշաններից է, որը հաճախ պահանջում է բժշկական գնահատում։
3. Որովայնային անհարմարություն կամ ծանրության զգացում
Որոշ մարդիկ զգում են ցավ կամ ծանրություն աջ վերին հատվածում՝ կողերի տակ։ Դա կարող է կապված լինել լյարդի մեծացման կամ բորբոքային գործընթացների հետ։
