Կլեոպատրան չի մահացել օձի խայթոցից. գիտնականների նոր բացահայտումը

Գիտնականները բացահայտել են, որ Հին Եգիպտոսի թագուհին՝ Կլեոպատրան, չէր կարող մահանալ օձի խայթոցից: Կլեոպատրան եղել է Եգիպտոսի վերջին կին փարավոնը: Նրա հայտնի պատմությունը դարձել է եգիպտական գաղտնիքների ու փաստերի մեջ ամենաշատ քննարկվածներից մեկը:
Երբ Հռոմեական կայսրությունը Ք.ա. 44 թվականին իր վերահսկողության տակ է վերցրել Եգիպտոսը, Կլեոպատրան որոշել է վերջ տալ իր կյանքին՝ գերադասելով մահը Հռոմի կայսր Օկտավիանոսի ձեռքը հանձնվելուց: Ինչպես պատմում է ավանդությունը, նա գաղտնի՝ իր նախապես կառուցված դամբարանն է բերել օձին, որտեղ էլ օգտագործել է օձի թույնն իրեն ու իր երկու ամենահավատարիմ ծառաներին սպանելու համար: Սակայն նոր ուսումնասիրությունը կասկածի տակ է դրել այս լեգենդը:
Օձերի խելացի մասնագետներն ու եգիպտոլոգները Մանչեստրի համալսարանում նշել են, որ կասկածվող մեղադրյալը՝ կոբրան, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, չէր կարող այնքան փոքր լինել, որ թաքցվեր փոքր զամբյուղի մեջ, ինչպես պնդում է պատմությունը: Կոբրան մոտ 1.5 մ երկարություն ունի, և մասնագետները ասում են, որ դժվար կլիներ գողանալ այդ չափի օձի ու բերել Կլեոպատրայի մոտ:
Նրանք կարծում են, որ եթե նույնիսկ օձը գաղտնի բերվեր, «անհնար» կլիներ օգտագործել օձի խայթոցը 2 կամ 3 մարդ սպանելու համար: Էնդրյու Գրեյը, ով Մանչեստրի թանգարանի երկկենցաղների մասնագետ է, նշել է. «Կոբրաները ոչ միայն չափազանց մեծ են, այլև ընդամենը 10% շանս կա, որ օձի խայթոցից կարելի է մահանալ. խայթոցների մեծ մասը չոր խայթոցներ են, որոնք թույն չեն ներարկում»:
Օձերը խնայում են իրենց թույնն ավելի անհրաժեշտ դեպքերի՝ որսի կամ պաշտպանության համար: Գիտնականները չեն հավատում, որ մեկ օձը 3 անգամ մահացու կխայթեր իրար հետևից: Այսպիսով, ինչպե՞ս է մահացել Կլեոպատրան: Գիտնականները դեռ ուսումնասիրում են այս հարցը: Շատերը կարծում են, որ նա կարող էր մահանալ թույն լցրած կոկտեյլ խմելով: Բայց ո՞վ գիտի՝ երբևէ կկարողանա՞նք բացահայտել Եգիպտոսի վերջին թագուհու մահվան առեղծվածը՞:
