Բանգլադեշում համաճարակի տարածման պատճառով արտակարգ դրություն է հայտարարվել

Բանգլադեշը կիրակի (ապրիլի 5-ին) մեկնարկեց մեկ միլիոնից ավելի երեխաների համար նախատեսված արտակարգ պատվաստման արշավ՝ երկրում արագ տարածվող կարմրուկի բռնկման ֆոնին։
Առողջապահության նախարարության տվյալները ցույց են տալիս, որ մինչ օրս կարմրուկից հաստատվել է 17 մահվան դեպք, որոնցից 113-ը կասկածելի մահվան դեպք է, իսկ վարակի դեպքերի թիվը երկրում գերազանցում է 7500-ը։
Համատեղ մամուլի հաղորդագրության համաձայն՝ առողջապահության նախարարության կողմից գլխավորված՝ UNICEF-ի, Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության և Gavi-ի՝ պատվաստանյութերի դաշինքի աջակցությամբ, արշավը սկսվել է 18 բարձր ռիսկի շրջաններում։
Առաջնահերթություն է տրվում վեց ամսականից մինչև հինգ տարեկան երեխաներին, մասնավորապես նրանց, ովքեր բաց են թողել պլանային պատվաստումները և բախվում են ծանր բարդությունների ամենաբարձր ռիսկին։
«ՅՈՒՆԻՍԵՖ-ը խորապես մտահոգված է Բանգլադեշում կարմրուկի դեպքերի կտրուկ աճով, որը հազարավոր երեխաների, հատկապես ամենափոքրերի և ամենախոցելիների, ենթարկում է լուրջ ռիսկի», - ասել է Բանգլադեշում բարեգործական կազմակերպության ներկայացուցիչ Ռանա Ֆլաուերսը։
«Այս վերածնունդը ընդգծում է իմունիտետի կարևոր բացերը», - ասաց նա։
Բարձր ծանրաբեռնվածությամբ մի քանի շրջանների հիվանդանոցներն արդեն իսկ գերբնակեցված են և գործում են սահմանափակ տարողունակությամբ, ինչը մտահոգություններ է առաջացնում հետագա տարածման վերաբերյալ։
Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպությունը «Ռոյթերս»-ին հայտնել է, որ բռնկումը, որն այժմ ընդգրկում է Բանգլադեշի 64 շրջաններից 56-ը, կշարունակի տարածվել առաջիկա օրերին, բայց, հավանաբար, այն կդադարի պատվաստումների արշավի մեկնարկից անմիջապես հետո։
«Այս արշավը կօգնի կանխել երիտասարդ կյանքերի հետագա ողբերգական կորուստները», - ասաց Բանգլադեշում խմբի ներկայացուցիչ, բժիշկ Ահմեդ Ջամշիդ Մոհամեդը։
Պաշտոնյաները նշել են, որ արտակարգ պատվաստման արշավը կլրացնի իմունիզացիայի սովորական ջանքերը, մինչ իշխանությունները աշխատում են բռնկումը զսպելու ուղղությամբ:
