Բժիշկները զգուշացնում են՝ տնային դեղատուփում հաճախ պահվող որոշ դեղեր պետք է օգտագործել միայն խիստ անհրաժեշտության դեպքում կամ ընդհանրապես չպահել «ինքնաբուժության» համար։ Խնդիրը ոչ թե միայն ժամկետն է, այլ այն, որ այս դեղերը սխալ օգտագործման դեպքում կարող են լուրջ վնաս հասցնել։

Անալգին
Չնայած լայն կիրառությանը՝ այս ցավազրկողը որոշ երկրներում սահմանափակված է։ Այն կարող է առաջացնել լուրջ կողմնակի ազդեցություններ, այդ թվում՝ արյան համակարգի խնդիրներ։ Առանց բժշկի վերահսկման օգտագործումը խորհուրդ չի տրվում։
Հակաբիոտիկներ (օրինակ՝ Ամոքսիցիլին)
Դրանք չի կարելի պահել և օգտագործել «յուրաքանչյուր մրսածության դեպքում»։ Սխալ կիրառումը կարող է հանգեցնել բակտերիաների դիմադրողականության և հետագա բուժման դժվարացման։

Ուժեղ ցավազրկող է, որը հաճախ օգտագործվում է առանց անհրաժեշտության։ Կարող է վնասել ստամոքսը և լյարդը, հատկապես հաճախակի օգտագործման դեպքում։

Շատերը դրանք ընդունում են «ամեն դեպքում», սակայն դրանք պարունակում են մի քանի ակտիվ նյութ և կարող են ավելորդ ծանրաբեռնել օրգանիզմը, հատկապես՝ լյարդը։

Այս դեղերը երբեք չպետք է պահվեն և օգտագործվեն առանց բժշկի նշանակման։ Դրանք ազդում են ամբողջ օրգանիզմի վրա և սխալ օգտագործման դեպքում կարող են լուրջ խանգարումներ առաջացնել։

Այս դեղերը վտանգավոր են ոչ թե իրենց գոյությամբ, այլ այն պատճառով, որ հաճախ օգտագործվում են առանց ճիշտ ախտորոշման և վերահսկման։ Տնային դեղատուփում դրանց առկայությունը «գայթակղություն» է ինքնաբուժության համար։
Տանը պետք է պահել միայն անվտանգ և հաճախ օգտագործվող միջոցներ, իսկ ուժեղ ազդեցություն ունեցող դեղերը՝ ընդունել բացառապես բժշկի ցուցումով։ Դա կօգնի խուսափել ավելորդ ռիսկերից և պահպանել առողջությունը։
