Իրանի դեմ պատերազմը կարող է շուտով ավարտվել․ Թրամփ

ԱՄՆ-ի պատերազմը Իրանի դեմ ընթանում է առանց որևէ բարդության, և հակամարտությունը պետք է շուտով ավարտվի, հայտարարել է նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը Լաս Վեգասում իր վարչակազմի հարկային ջանքերին նվիրված միջոցառման ժամանակ:
«Դուք կարող եք նկատել, որ մենք շատ լավ ենք գործում, և ես կասեի, որ Իրանի դեմ պատերազմը ընթանում է ըստ ուզածի: Մենք կարող ենք անել այն, ինչ ուզում ենք: Այն կարող է շուտով ավարտվել», - ասել է Թրամփը:
ԱՄՆ-ն և Իսրայելը փետրվարի 28-ին լայնածավալ գործողություն էին սկսել Իրանի դեմ: Ապրիլի 7-ին ԱՄՆ նախագահը հայտարարել էր Թեհրանի հետ երկշաբաթյա փոխադարձ հրադադարի մասին: Ապրիլի 11-ին Իրանը և ԱՄՆ-ն մի քանի փուլով բանակցություններ էին անցկացրել Իսլամաբադում: Իրանի պատվիրակությունը գլխավորել էր խորհրդարանի նախագահ Մոհամմադ Բաղեր Ղալիբաֆը, իսկ ԱՄՆ-ի պատվիրակությունը՝ փոխնախագահ Ջ.Դ. Վենսը: Ավելի ուշ Թեհրանն ու Վաշինգտոնը հաղորդել էին, որ չեն կարողացել համաձայնության գալ հակամարտության երկարաժամկետ կարգավորման շուրջ՝ միջուկային ծրագրի, Հորմուզի նեղուցի շուրջ հակասությունների պատճառով: Դրանից հետո Միացյալ Նահանգները ապրիլի 13-ին ռազմածովային շրջափակում է իրականացնում Իրանի դեմ, իսկ Թեհրանը չի բացում նեղուցը։
