Եվրոպական քաղաքական համայնքի գագաթնաժողովը շատ կարևոր իրադարձություն է, որի ընթացքում Հայաստանը մի քանի օրով կդառնա Եվրոպայի մի տեսակ կենտրոն։ Սա ընդգծում է Հայաստանի աշխարհաքաղաքական նշանակությունը։ Դրա մասին CivilNet-ին տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել է Ֆրանսիայի եվրոպական հարցերով նախարար Բենջամին Հադդադը։
«Դրան զուգընթաց նախագահ Մակրոնը կկատարի իր առաջին այցը Հայաստան։ Մենք կկարողանանք ամրապնդել մեր երկրների միջև արդեն շատ սերտ պատմական, մշակութային և տնտեսական կապերը, ինչպես նաև պաշտպանական համագործակցությունը։ Նախագահ Մակրոնը և վարչապետ Փաշինյանը կստորագրեն ռազմավարական գործընկերության համաձայնագիր, որը մեզ ավելի կմերձեցնի։ Դրանից հետո տեղի կունենա ԵՄ-Հայաստան գագաթնաժողովը, որը հնարավորություն կտա ամրապնդելու Եվրոպական Միության և Երևանի միջև համագործակցությունը։ Սա կարևոր հանգրվան կլինի Հայաստանի՝ Ֆրանսիայի և Եվրամիության հետ հարաբերություններում։
Ֆրանսիան արդեն ընդլայնել է իր պաշտպանական համագործակցությունը Հայաստանի հետ՝ թե՛ զենքի մատակարարման, թե՛ խորհրդատվության առումով։ Մենք Երևանում մեր դեսպանատուն ենք ուղարկել մեր ռազմական կցորդին։ Սա նախագահ Մակրոնի առաջնահերթություններից մեկն է»,- ընդգծել է նախարարը։
Հադդադը շեշտել է պաշտպանական համագործակցության զարգացման անհրաժեշտությունը, որն արդեն ակտիվորեն իրականացվում է վերջին տարիներին։
«Ես առաջին անգամ եմ Հայաստանում և այցելեցի Ցեղասպանության թանգարան։ Դա շատ կարևոր և հուզիչ փորձառություն էր։ Դեռ այն տարիներին այս ողբերգությունը, այս ցեղասպանությունը հուզել է շատ ֆրանսիացիների և եվրոպացիների, որոնք գրել են դրա մասին»,- նշել է նա։
