«Խստորեն դատապարտում ենք Ադրբեջանի կողմից օկուպացված Ստեփանակերտում Սուրբ Աստվածամոր Հովանու եկեղեցու ոչնչացումը, որը պետական մակարդակով իրականացվող վանդալիզմ է, մշակութային ցեղասպանության հերթական դրսևորում։ Այս մասին հայտարարություն է տարածել Genesis Armenia ուղեղային կենտրոն-հիմնադրամը։

Միաժամանակ դատապարտում ենք պաշտոնական Երևանի մեղսակից լռությունը, իրավական քայլեր չձեռնարկելու անհեռատես քաղաքականությունը՝ Ադրբեջանի հանցագործությունները թաքցնելու և ներհասարակական խոսույթն ապազգայնացնելու առումով։

Ի լուր աշխարհի՝ Աստծո քրիստոնեական այս տան ոչնչացումը նպատակային հարված է հայկական քաղաքակրթական ներկայությանը, Արցախի պատմամշակութային հիշողությանն ու հայրենազրկված հայության ինքնության նյութական արժեքների վկայություններին։ Ադրբեջանը հերթական անգամ ապացուցում է, որ Արցախի բռնազավթումն իր համար ոչ միայն տարածքային վերահսկողության հարց է, այլև էթնոմշակութային վերաձևման, պատմության վերանայման և հայկական քաղաքակրթական հետքի վերացման ծրագիր։

Ստեփանակերտի եկեղեցու ոչնչացումը Ադրբեջանի որդեգրած ֆաշիստական քաղաքականության շարունակությունն է, ինչ Արցախի հայության բռնի տեղահանումը, գերեվարված անձանց ապօրինի պահումը, հոգևոր և մշակութային ժառանգության պղծումը, տեղանունների անվանափոխումն ու միջազգային իրավունքի նորմերի բացահայտ արհամարհումը։

Միջազգային հանրության լռությունը կամ ձևական արձագանքները խրախուսում են վանդալների հանցավոր վարքագիծը։ Երբ քաղաքակրթական ժառանգության ոչնչացումը մնում է անպատիժ, այն վերածվում է քաղաքական գործիքի՝ նոր ագրեսիաների նախապատրաստման համար։

Կոչ ենք անում ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ին, միջազգային մշակութային կառույցներին, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանությամբ զբաղվող կազմակերպություններին և պատասխանատու պետություններին՝

  • անհապաղ փաստագրել կատարված հանցագործությունը,
  • պահանջել միջազգային մոնիտորինգային առաքելության մուտք Արցախի օկուպացված տարածքներ,
  • կիրառել հասցեական քաղաքական ու իրավական ճնշման մեխանիզմներ Ադրբեջանի նկատմամբ,
  • արձանագրել, որ հայկական ժառանգության ոչնչացումը տարածաշրջանում կայուն, երկարատև, արդար և համապարփակ խաղաղաշինությունն արգելակող հակամարդկային քայլ է։

Արցախի հայկական ժառանգության դեմ պատերազմը շարունակվում է։ Լռությունն այս պարագայում չեզոքություն չէ, ոչ էլ մոլորյալների ցնորքային խաղաղությանն ընդառաջ տպավորիչ քայլ, այլ մասնակցություն՝ հանցագործության քաղաքական լեգիտիմացմանը»։
