Փաշինյանը, ըստ քաղաքական դաշտում արձանագրվող զարգացումների, դիմում է ֆեյքային հարթակների, կեղծ լուրերի և սադրանքների՝ պայքարելով «Ուժեղ Հայաստան» կուսակցության դեմ։ Վերջին օրերի աղմկահարույց օրինակներից մեկը ընտրությունները բոյկոտելու կոչ պարունակող թռուցիկն էր, որտեղ քննադատության էին ենթարկվում գրեթե բոլոր հիմնական թեկնածուները, բացառությամբ Սամվել Կարապետյանի։ Նման մեթոդների կիրառումը առավել քան խոսուն է և վկայում է ոչ թե վստահության, այլ խորացող անհանգստության մասին։

Իշխող ուժի կողմից կիրառվող այսպիսի գործիքակազմը ցույց է տալիս, որ «Ուժեղ Հայաստան» կուսակցությունը արդեն ընկալվում է որպես իրական և լուրջ մրցակից։

Կուսակցության առաջնորդի և նրա թիմի վարկաբեկման փորձերը ոչ միայն չեն թուլացնում այդ քաղաքական ուժը, այլ հակառակը՝ ընդգծում են նրա ազդեցության աճը։

Քաղաքական գործընթացների ընթացքը ցույց է տալիս, որ յուրաքանչյուր անցնող օրով այդ ուժը ավելի կազմակերպված և համախմբված է դառնում՝ իր շուրջը միավորելով նոր գործընկերների և ներգրավելով նոր դեմքեր։

Միևնույն ժամանակ ակնհայտ է դառնում, որ գործող իշխանությունների վարած քաղաքականությունը միտված է ձևավորելու այնպիսի պատկեր, թե ընդդիմադիր ուժերը, հատկապես «Ուժեղ Հայաստանը», գործում են օրենքի սահմաններից դուրս։

Սակայն նման փորձերը բախվում են հանրային ընկալման պատին։ Վերջին տարիների ընթացքում հասարակությունը ձևավորել է սեփական գնահատականները և ավելի զգայուն է դարձել նման տեղեկատվական մանիպուլյացիաների նկատմամբ։

Ստեղծված իրավիճակում իշխող ուժի մարտավարությունը պարզ է՝ մինչև ընտրությունները ձևավորել անվստահության մթնոլորտ ընդդիմության նկատմամբ և կասկածի տակ դնել նրա օրինականությունը։

Սակայն ընթացիկ զարգացումները ցույց են տալիս, որ այդ մոտեցումը չի տալիս սպասված արդյունքը։ Հակառակը՝ քաղաքական դաշտում ձևավորվում է մի միտում, որտեղ ընդդիմադիր ուժերը, մասնավորապես «Ուժեղ Հայաստան» կուսակցությունը, աստիճանաբար ամրապնդում են իրենց դիրքերը և որոշ ցուցիչներով առաջ անցնում գործող իշխանության վարկանիշից։

Այս համատեքստում ակնհայտ է դառնում, որ պայքարը տեղափոխվել է ոչ միայն քաղաքական, այլ նաև տեղեկատվական դաշտ, որտեղ հաղթում է ոչ թե ամենաբարձր ձայնը, այլ առավել վստահելի ուղերձը։
