Այս խնդիրը սովորաբար ուղեկցվում է նաև այլ նշաններով՝ կենտրոնանալու խնդիրներ, գլխացավ, քնկոտություն։ Քանի որ ապնոէն մեծացնում է սիրտ-անոթային հիվանդությունների, դիաբետի, կաթվածների և այլ խնդիրների զարգացման հավանականությունը, խորհուրդ է տրվում, որքան հնարավոր է՝ շուտ դիմել մասնագետի օգնությանը, ինչպես նաև հետևել հավասարակշռված սննդակարգի կանոններին, այդ թվում՝ նվազեցնել ալկոհոլային խմիչքի օգտագործումը։
