Իրանի իշխանությունները հայտարարել են, որ տրամաբանություն չեն տեսնում նավթի արդյունահանման մակարդակը սահմանափակելու մեջ եւ մտադիր չեն միանալ համապատասխան պայմանավորվածությանը, որը փետրվարի 16-ին Դոհայում ձեռք Է բերվել Ռուսաստանի եւ ՕՊԷՔ-ի անդամ երեք երկրների միջեւ, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC-ին:

ՕՊԷՔ-ի հետ Իրանի գործակցության համար պատասխանատու պաշտոնյաների խոսքով՝ շատ երկրներ նավթի արդյունահանումն ավելացնում Էին այն ժամանակ, երբ Թեհրանը գտնվում Էր Արեւմուտքի պատժամիջոցների տակ: Այժմ, երբ այդ պատժամիջոցները չեղարկված են, Իրանն ինքն Է մտադիր ավելացնել նավթի արդյունահանումը:

Թեհրանի որոշումը անհնարին Է դարձնում Դոհայում ստորագրված համաձայնագրի իրագործումը, քանի որ դրանում, որպես պարտադիր պայման, նշված Է ՕՊԷՔ-ի անդամ բոլոր երկրների համաձայնությունը համանման միջոցառումներին: Դրա հետ մեկտեղ բացառված չԷ, որ բանակցությունները կշարունակվեն:
