Իսրայելը վերջնականապես հաստատել է Lockheed Martin-ից և Boeing-ից ժամանակակից F-35 և F-15IA կործանիչների երկու նոր մարտական էսկադրիլիա ձեռք բերելու ծրագիրը՝ տասնյակ միլիարդավոր դոլարների արժողությամբ գործարքի շրջանակում, հայտնում է Reuters-ը։
Իսրայելի նախարարական գնումների կոմիտեի կողմից հաստատված գործարքը «առաջին քայլն է 350 միլիարդ շեքել (119 միլիարդ դոլար) արժողությամբ ծրագրի իրականացման ուղղությամբ, որը նպատակ ունի ամրապնդել Իսրայելի զինված ուժերը և բարձրացնել պատրաստվածությունը՝ այն տասնամյակի նախաշեմին, որը պահանջում է մեծ ջանքեր Իսրայելի անվտանգությունն ապահովելու համար», ասվում է հաղորդագրության մեջ։
Հայտարարության համաձայն, նոր էսկադրիլիաները կծառայեն որպես զինված ուժերի երկարաժամկետ զարգացման, տարածաշրջանային սպառնալիքներին հակազդելու և օդում Իսրայելի ռազմավարական գերազանցությունը պահպանելու հիմնաքար։
«Պատերազմի ժամանակ գնումների հրատապ կարիքներին զուգահեռ՝ մենք պարտավոր ենք գործել հենց հիմա, որպեսզի ապահովենք Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակի ռազմական գերազանցությունը տասը տարի անց և դրանից հետո», - ասել է նախարարության գլխավոր տնօրեն Ամիր Բարամը։
Իրանի հետ վերջին պատերազմը «հաստատեց, թե որքան կարևոր են ԱՄՆ-ի և Իսրայելի միջև ռազմավարական հարաբերությունները և որքան կարևոր է մնում ժամանակակից ավիացիան», հավելել է նա։
Ըստ համաձայնագրի, Իսրայելը ձեռք կբերի Lockheed Martin-ից F-35 կործանիչների չորրորդ էսկադրիլիան և Boeing-ից F-15IA կործանիչների երկրորդ էսկադրիլիան։ Դեկտեմբերին Boeing-ը Իսրայելի համար ստացել էր 8,6 միլիարդ դոլարի պայմանագիր, որը ներառում է 25 նոր F-15IA կործանիչների մատակարարում և ևս 25 ինքնաթիռի օպցիոն։
Բարամն ասել է, որ հաջորդ քայլը կլինի ԱՄՆ կառավարության և ռազմական գործընկերների հետ համաձայնագրերի շուրջ աշխատանքի ավարտումը։
