ԱՄՆ հանրապետականներն, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, պարտություն կկրեն 2026 թվականի նոյեմբերին կայանալիք ընտրություններում։ Այս հեռանկարին նախապատրաստվելու նպատակով Սպիտակ տանը սկսել են փակ խորհրդակցություններ անցկացնել նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի վարչակազմի աշխատակիցների համար։ Այս մասին հայտնում է «The Washington Post» (WP) պարբերականը, հղում անելով իր աղբյուրներին։
«Բոլորի համար էլ պարզ է, որ սա շատ հավանական սցենար է»,— նշել է խորհրդակցության մասնակիցներից մեկը՝ խոսելով այն մասին, որ հանրապետականները կարող են կորցնել Կոնգրեսի պալատներից մեկում ունեցած վերահսկողությունը։
Ըստ պարբերականի տվյալների՝ քաղաքական պաշտոնյաների համար նախատեսված այդ հանդիպումները տևում են մոտ 30 րոպե։ Դրանց ընթացքում ներկայացվում է, թե ինչպես է իրականացվում կոնգրեսական վերահսկողությունը և ինչպես պետք է արձագանքել օրենսդիրների հարցումներին։ Աշխատակիցներին նաև խորհուրդ են տալիս ավելի զգույշ լինել գրավոր ձևակերպումների հարցում և ժամանակին պատասխանել կոնգրեսականների դիմումներին։
Սպիտակ տանը հայտարարել են, որ նման հանձնարարականները տրամադրվում են վերահսկողության պահանջները պահպանելու համար, իսկ հարցումներով աշխատանքի գործելակերպը կիրառվում է 2025 թվականի հունվարից։ Միևնույն ժամանակ, թերթի զրուցակիցները նշել են, որ վերջին բրիֆինգները ստացել են միջանկյալ ընտրություններին նախապատրաստվելու ավելի արտահայտված ենթատեքստ։
Թերթը վարչակազմի անհանգստությունը կապում է Թրամփի վարկանիշների անկման և հանրապետականների դիրքերի վատթարացման հետ։
Նշվում է, որ եթե դեմոկրատները հաղթեն Կոնգրեսի մեկ կամ երկու պալատներում, Թրամփի վարչակազմը կարող է բախվել մեծ թվով ծանուցագրերի, լսումների և հետաքննությունների։ Ինքը՝ ամերիկացի առաջնորդը, ավելի վաղ ընդունել էր միջանկյալ ընտրություններում Հանրապետական կուսակցության խոցելիությունը և հայտարարել, որ նրանց պարտությունը կարող է հանգեցնել իմպիչմենտի նոր փորձի։
