ՄԻՊ-ը «խիստ մտահոգիչ է համարում Վեդիում երեխաներին առնչվող դեպքը»

Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի գրասենյակից հայտարարություն են տարածել․
«Վեդի քաղաքում երեխաներին առնչվող դեպքի վերաբերյալ վերջին օրերին զանգվածային լրատվության միջոցներում և սոցիալական հարթակներում շրջանառվում են տարբեր հրապարակումներ
Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանը խիստ մտահոգիչ է համարում դեպքի առնչությամբ տեղեկատվությունը և ևս մեկ անգամ շեշտում է, որ երեխայի նկատմամբ բռնության ցանկացած դրսևորում բացարձակապես անթույլատրելի է և ենթակա է պատշաճ իրավական գնահատականի։ Սույն դեպքի հանգամանքները պահանջում են ամբողջական և օբյեկտիվ քննություն և այդ առումով նաև պատշաճ հանրային հաղորդակցություն։
Միաժամանակ, Պաշտպանն ընդգծում է, որ նման զգայուն իրավիճակներում երեխային վերաբերող նույնականացնող տվյալների հրապարակումը, այդ թվում՝ դպրոցի, առողջական վիճակի կամ զարգացման առանձնահատկությունների վերաբերյալ, և այլ ուղղակի կամ անուղղակի նույնականացման հնարավորություն ստեղծող տեղեկությունների տարածումը, չեն բխում երեխայի լավագույն շահից և կարող են վնասել երեխային։
Հատկապես բռնության դեպքերի համատեքստում երեխային վերաբերող հրապարակումները պետք է իրականացվեն այնպես, որ դրանց արդյունքում երեխան չհայտնվի առավել անպաշտպան և խոցելի վիճակում։
Պաշտպանը շեշտում է՝ երեխային առնչվող նյութերի լուսաբանումը պետք է իրականացվի «մի՛ վնասիր» սկզբունքի, պատասխանատու լրագրության կանոնների պահպանմամբ՝ լիարժեք կերպով ապահովելով երեխայի անձնական տվյալների պաշտպանությունը, հատուկ կարևորելով հրապարակումների պատրաստման հարցում զգոնության և նրբանկատության ցուցաբերումը։
Սույն դեպքի առնչությամբ Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշխատակազմում ՄԻՊ մանդատի շրջանակում իրականացվում է ուսումնասիրություն»։
