Հնդկաստանի Մահարաշտրա նահանգում ոստիկանությունը ձերբակալել է մի տղամարդու, որը կասկածվում է իր 65-ամյա հորը սպանելու և դեպքը որպես վագրի հարձակում ներկայացնելու մեջ։ Ինչպես հայտնում է Past.am-ը՝ հղում անելով Times of India-ին, խոսքը Յոգեշ Դակատեի մասին է։
Քննության տվյալներով՝ Յոգեշը նախապես պլանավորել էր հարձակվել հոր՝ Դևաջիի վրա։ Նշվում է, որ վերջինս երկար ժամանակ նվաստացրել է որդուն, և վերջինս, ինչպես ներկայացվում է, այլևս չի կարողացել դիմանալ այդ վերաբերմունքին։ Դեպքը տեղի է ունեցել գիշերը, երբ Դևաջին հեծանիվով տուն էր վերադառնում․ այդ պահին որդին հարձակվել է նրա վրա և կացնով սպանել։
Ավելի ուշ տղամարդու մարմինը հայտնաբերվել է երկաթուղային թունելի հարակից տարածքում։ Կասկածները շեղելու նպատակով Յոգեշը փորձել է բեմադրել վագրի հարձակում՝ տեղեկացնելով ոստիկանությանը, ընտանիքին և տեղի բնակիչներին, թե հայրը դարձել է գիշատչի զոհ։ Իր պնդումները նա հիմնավորել է նրանով, որ վերջին շրջանում նույն տարածքում արձանագրվել էին վագրերի հարձակումներ։
Սակայն իրավապահների մոտ կասկածներ են առաջացել։ Մարմնի դիրքը և պարանոցի, մեջքի ու գլխի հատվածում հայտնաբերված վնասվածքները վկայել են, որ հարձակումը կատարվել է մարդու կողմից։
Սկսված հետաքննության արդյունքում կասկածները կենտրոնացել են հենց որդու վրա, ինչից հետո նա ձերբակալվել է։ Ինչպես նշում է Past.am-ը, Հնդկաստանի օրենսդրությամբ գիշատիչների հարձակման զոհերի ընտանիքներին նախատեսվում է փոխհատուցում, և քննությամբ չի բացառվում, որ տղամարդը, բացի անձնական շարժառիթից, փորձել է նաև ստանալ այդ գումարը։
