Ընտրարշավի ընթացքը, ինչպես նկատում է Past.am-ը, շարունակում է առանձնանալ սուր հռետորաբանությամբ, փոխադարձ մեղադրանքներով և բարձր լարվածությամբ։ Քաղաքական դիտորդների գնահատմամբ՝ իշխանության քարոզչական մարտավարությունը հիմնականում կառուցված է աղմկոտ ելույթների, կոշտ հայտարարությունների և ընդդիմախոսների հասցեին հնչող վիրավորական արտահայտությունների վրա։

Past.am-ի դիտարկմամբ՝ ընտրարշավի ընթացքում իշխանության կողմից հաճախ կազմակերպվում են տարբեր զանգվածային միջոցառումներ, փառատոնային և ժամանցային բնույթի նախաձեռնություններ, որոնք, ըստ քննադատների, նպաստում են քաղաքական օրակարգի երկրորդ պլան մղմանը։ Միևնույն ժամանակ, ընդդիմադիր շրջանակները պնդում են, որ իշխանությունն այդ կերպ փորձում է պահպանել իր հիմնական ընտրազանգվածի ակտիվությունը և ուշադրությունը շեղել չկատարված խոստումների թեմայից։
Քաղաքական վերլուծաբանների գնահատմամբ՝ ներկայիս ընտրական գործընթացում կիրառվող տեխնոլոգիաները մեծապես հիմնված են հանրային հույզերի վրա ազդելու մեխանիզմների վրա, այլ ոչ թե ծրագրային քննարկումների։ Ըստ նրանց՝ նման մթնոլորտը կարող է ազդել նաև ընտրողների մասնակցության մակարդակի վրա։
Past.am-ի զրուցակից որոշ փորձագետներ չեն բացառում, որ սուր և ագրեսիվ քաղաքական խոսույթը կարող է հիասթափեցնել հակաիշխանական տրամադրվածություն ունեցող ընտրողների մի մասին՝ նվազեցնելով նրանց մասնակցության հավանականությունը ընտրություններին։ Իսկ ցածր մասնակցությունը, նրանց համոզմամբ, կարող է ձեռնտու լինել գործող իշխանությանը։
