Թագավորական կարտոֆիլը մի յուրահատուկ եւ շատ համեղ ուտեստ է, որի պատրաստման համար շատ սովորական եւ ձեռքի տակ եղած մթերքներ են անհրաժեշտ։ Ինչպես հուշում է ճաշատեսակի անվանումը՝ այն կարելի է մատուցել եւ ամենօրյա, եւ տոնական սեղան պատրաստելիս։  

Թագավորական կարտոֆիլն ունի պատրաստման շատ հեշտ եղանակ, բայց նրա համն ու բույրը լիովին համապատասխանում են այս ուտեստի անվանը, քանի որ իսկապես թագավորական ճաշատեսակ է ստացվում։

Պատրաստման համար անհրաժեշտ է՝ մեկ կիլոգրամ կարտոֆիլ, 400 գր. հավի ֆիլե,  մեկ սոխ, 200գր. պանիր, մայոնեզ (ոչ յուղալի), աղ, պղպեղ եւ այլ համեմունքներ (ըստ ճաշակի), ինչպես նաեւ բուսական յուղ։

Հավի միսը պետք է շերտատել, երկու կողմերից զգուշությամբ ծեծել, համեմել մի քիչ աղով ու պղպեղով, մայենոզ կամ մանանեխ քսել եւ մի որոշ ժամանակ այդպես թողնել։

Սոխըն անհրաժեշտ է կիսալուսնաձեւ կտրատել, կարտոֆիլը՝ մաքրել, լվանալ, մի փոքր հաստությամբ կտրատել, իսկ պանիրը՝ մանր քերել։

Այս բոլոր գործողությունները կատարելուց հետո պետք է թավան կրակի վրա մի փոքր տաքացնել, բուսական յուղ լցնել եւ կտրատված կարտոֆիլի կեսը լցնել դրա մեջ։ Այնուհետեւ, կարտոֆիլը անհարժեշտ է համեմել աղով եւ պղպեղով, ավելացնել կարտոֆիլի մնացած զանգվածը եւ կրկին համեմել։ Կարտոֆիլի մակերեսին արդեն կարելի է լցնել հավի միսը, հետո կտրատված սոխն ու քերած պանիրը (նախընտրելի է, որ քերած պանիրը բավականին առատ լինի՝ ուտեստն ավելի համեղ ու անուշաբույր դարձնելու համար), եւ իհարկե, մայոնեզը։

Այս ամենից հետո թավան տեղափոխում եք տաքացված ջեռոց եւ եփում մեկ ժամից ոչ քիչ։ Ուտեստը պատրաստ է. բարի ախորժակ։
