Նյու Յորքի Բրուքլին շրջանում 33-ամյա Սամանթա Ռանդացցոն տղա է լույս աշխարհ բերել հենց դատարանի դահլիճում՝ թմրանյութերի պահպանման գործով դատական նիստի ընթացքում, հայտնում է NBC News-ը։

Նյու Յորքի ոստիկանության տվյալներով, կնոջը ձերբակալել են հինգշաբթի երեկոյան այն բանից հետո, երբ ոստիկանները բնակելի համալիրի տանիքում հայտնաբերել են թմրամիջոց։ Նրան մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել թմրանյութերի ապօրինի պահպանման և ապօրինի մուտքի համար։

Ոստիկանությունը պնդում է, որ ձերբակալության ժամանակ Ռանդացցոն լայն հագուստ էր կրում, չի հայտնել հղիության մասին և հրաժարվել է բժշկական օգնությունից։

Ուրբաթ՝ տեղական ժամանակով առավոտյան մոտ 03:30-ին, նա ոստիկանության աշխատակիցներին հայտնել է, որ հղի է և թմրանյութերից հրաժարման ախտանիշներ ունի։ Դրանից հետո նրան տեղափոխել են հիվանդանոց, որտեղ զննումից հետո դուրս են գրել։

Դուրս գրվելուց մոտ չորս ժամ անց՝ ուրբաթ ուշ երեկոյան, դատարանում մեղադրանքի ներկայացման ժամանակ կնոջ ծննդաբերությունը սկսվել է։

Փաստաբանների և ականատեսների վկայությամբ, նա երեխային լույս աշխարհ է բերել դատարանի դահլիճի նստարանին՝ առանց պատշաճ բժշկական օգնության, առանց առանձնացված պայմանների և առանց ծննդկանի համար նախատեսված տարրական պայմանների պահպանման։

Ռանդացցոյի փաստաբան Ուինթոն Շարփը հայտնել է, որ տղա է ծնվել։ Նա նշել է, որ դատարանի աշխատակիցները արագ օգնության են հասել, երբ կնոջ պտղաջրերը հեռացել են։

Իրավաբանական օգնության ընկերությունը և մի շարք հանրային պաշտպանների կազմակերպություններ կտրուկ քննադատել են իշխանությունների գործողությունները՝ հայտարարելով, որ տեղի ունեցածը վկայում է կալանքի տակ գտնվող հղի կանանց հետ վարվելու ընթացակարգերի լուրջ խախտման մասին։

Իրավապաշտպանները պահանջել են անցկացնել պաշտոնական հետաքննություն և վերանայել գործող կանոնները, որոնք կարգավորում են քրեական արդարադատության համակարգում հղի կանանց պահումը։ Նրանք հայտնել են, որ տեղի ունեցածը դարձել է ոչ միայն ընթացակարգային խափանում, այլև համակարգի «խորը բարոյական ձախողում»։
