Բանգլադեշում մեկնարկել է արտակարգ պատվաստման լայնածավալ արշավ՝ երկրում արագ տարածվող կարմրուկի բռնկման ֆոնին։ Իշխանությունները նախատեսում են պատվաստել ավելի քան մեկ միլիոն երեխայի։

Առողջապահության նախարարության տվյալներով՝ մինչ այժմ հաստատվել է կարմրուկից մահվան 17 դեպք, ևս 113 մահվան դեպք համարվում է կասկածելի։ Միևնույն ժամանակ վարակվածների թիվը երկրում արդեն գերազանցել է 7500-ը։

Առողջապահության նախարարության, UNICEF-ի, World Health Organization-ի և Gavi-ի համատեղ նախաձեռնությամբ իրականացվող արշավը մեկնարկել է բարձր ռիսկային համարվող 18 շրջաններում։

Առաջնահերթությունը տրվում է վեց ամսականից մինչև հինգ տարեկան երեխաներին, հատկապես նրանց, ովքեր բաց են թողել պլանային պատվաստումները և առավել խոցելի են ծանր բարդությունների տեսանկյունից։

Բանգլադեշում ՅՈՒՆԻՍԵՖ-ի ներկայացուցիչ Ռանա Ֆլաուերսը հայտարարել է, որ կազմակերպությունը լրջորեն մտահոգված է երկրում կարմրուկի դեպքերի կտրուկ աճով։

«Այս իրավիճակը հազարավոր երեխաների, հատկապես ամենափոքրերի և ամենախոցելիների, ենթարկում է լուրջ վտանգի։ Բռնկումը ցույց է տալիս, որ բնակչության շրջանում իմունիտետի զգալի բացեր կան», — նշել է նա։

Մի շարք շրջանների հիվանդանոցներ արդեն գերբեռնված են և աշխատում են սահմանափակ հնարավորություններով, ինչը մեծացնում է վարակի հետագա տարածման վտանգը։

Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպությունը հայտնել է, որ բռնկումը տարածվել է Բանգլադեշի 64 շրջաններից 56-ում և, հավանաբար, կշարունակի տարածվել առաջիկա օրերին։ Սակայն մասնագետների կարծիքով՝ պատվաստումների արշավը կարող է արագորեն զսպել իրավիճակը։

«Այս նախաձեռնությունը կօգնի կանխել երիտասարդ կյանքերի հետագա ողբերգական կորուստները», — հայտարարել է Բանգլադեշում ԱՀԿ ներկայացուցիչ բժիշկ Ահմեդ Ջամշիդ Մոհամեդը։
