Թուրքիան ուժգնացնում է նախապատրաստությունը Անկարայում անցկացվելիք ՆԱՏՕ-ի գագաթնաժողովին ոչ միայն դիվանագիտական, այլև ռազմավարական մակարդակով՝ թուրք-ամերիկյան դաշինքի ակտիվ առաջմղումը համատեղելով 1,2 միլիարդ դոլար արժողությամբ խոշոր ենթակառուցվածքային նախագծի առաջարկի հետ, որը կարող է ամրապնդել դաշինքի արևելյան թևը։

Bloomberg-ի տվյալներով՝ Անկարան առաջարկել է Թուրքիայից Բուլղարիայի տարածքով դեպի Ռումինիա ռազմական վառելիքատար կառուցել։ Նախագիծը պետք է դառնա ՆԱՏՕ-ի ջանքերի մի մասը՝ ուղղված ռազմական լոգիստիկայի ցանցի ընդլայնմանը և Արևելյան Եվրոպայում դաշնակիցներին վառելիքի մատակարարման ապահովմանը։

Այդ քայլը հատուկ նշանակություն է ստանում 2026 թվականի հուլիսի 7–8-ը Անկարայի Նախագահական համալիրում տեղի ունենալիք ՆԱՏՕ-ի գագաթնաժողովի հետնապատկերին։

Թուրքիայում ԱՄՆ նախկին դեսպան Ջեյմս Ջեֆրին ևս հայտարարել է, որ Անկարան և Վաշինգտոնը առանցքային դեր են խաղում անվտանգության հարցերում՝ Ուկրաինայից մինչև Կովկաս, Սև ծով և Բալկաններ։

Հատուկ ուշադրություն է դարձվում նաև Թուրքիայի պաշտպանական արդյունաբերությանը։ ԱՄՆ Պետքարտուղարության նախկին խորհրդական Ռիչ Աուտցենը նշել է, որ թուրքական ռազմարդյունաբերական համալիրը հասել է մի մակարդակի, երբ ամերիկյան ընկերություններն արդեն շահագրգռված են թուրքական արտադրանքի գնմամբ։

Ուկրաինայում ընթացող պատերազմի, սպառազինության պակասի և ՆԱՏՕ-ի լոգիստիկայի նկատմամբ աճող պահանջների ֆոնին շեշտադրումը տեղափոխվում է ոչ միայն ֆինանսավորման, այլև արտադրական հզորությունների, ենթակառուցվածքների և ուժերի արագ տեղակայման իրական հնարավորությունների վրա։

Թուրքիայի արտգործնախարար Հաքան Ֆիդանն ավելի վաղ հայտարարել էր, որ Անկարայի գագաթնաժողովը պետք է օգնի համակարգային հարաբերություններ կառուցել Դոնալդ Թրամփի վարչակազմի հետ, ինչպես նաև դաշինքը նախապատրաստել ՆԱՏՕ-ի առանձին մեխանիզմներում ԱՄՆ-ի մասնակցության հնարավոր կրճատմանը։

Ապրիլին ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Մարկ Ռյուտեի այցը Անկարա, ներառյալ ASELSAN տեխնոլոգիական բազայի այցելությունը, լրացուցիչ կերպով ընդգծեց դաշինքի ռազմական արդյունաբերության մեջ Թուրքիայի աճող դերը։

Այսպիսով, Անկարան օգտագործում է առաջիկա գագաթնաժողովը որպես հարթակ՝ ՆԱՏՕ-ում իր դերը միանգամից մի քանի ուղղություններով ամրապնդելու համար՝ դիվանագիտություն, պաշտպանական արդյունաբերություն, էներգետիկ լոգիստիկա և արևելյան թևի անվտանգության ապահովում։
