Ցմահ դատապարտյալ Արթուր Քոչարյանն ազատ է արձակվել

Շուրջ 22 տարի անազատության մեջ գտնվելուց հետո ցմահ դատապարտյալ Արթուր Քոչարյանն ազատ է արձակվել։ Դատարանը բավարարել է պայմանական վաղաժամկետ ազատ արձակման միջնորդությունը։ Տեղեկությունը «Փաստինֆո»-ի հետ զրույցում հաստատել են Քրեակատարողական ծառայությունից։
Արթուր Քոչարյանը ցմահ ազատազրկման է դատապարտվել՝ համածառայակցի սպանության գործով։ Ըստ քրեական գործի՝ 2004 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 19-ին Արցախի Մարտունու զորամասի զինծառայող Արթուր Մեսրոպյանն անհետացել էր, իսկ երկու օր անց՝ ՀՀ անկախության օրը, նրա դին հայտնաբերվել էր պարսպից կախված վիճակում։ Վաշտի զինծառայողներին նույն օրը սկզբում տեղափոխվել էին Ստեփանակերտի, ապա 20 օր պահվելուց հետո՝ ՀՀ ռազմական ոստիկանություն, որտեղ բռնության են ենթարկվել։
Արթուր Քոչարյանը մեղադրանքը չէր ընդունում, պնդում էր, որ մեղադրական եզրակացությունն ու դատավճիռները հենված են ծառայակիցներից մեկի 6 անգամ փոփոխվող ու պարբերաբար լրացվող ցուցմունքների հիման վրա։ Քոչարյանն ինքը լրատվամիջոցներին պատմել է՝ իրենց նկատմամբ կիրառվող բռնությունների մասին։
Արթուր Քոչարյանից բացի ամբաստանյալի կարգավիճակում էին նրա համածառայակիցները՝ Ավետիք Թումանյանը և Սուրեն Չոբանյանը, որոնք ի սկզբանե ևս դատապարտվել էին ցմահ ազատազրկման, սակայն հետագայում Վերաքննիչ դատարանը նրանց պատիժը փոխել է՝ 15 տարվա ազատազրկմամբ։
Արթուր Քոչարյանն այս տարիների ընթացքում, ինչպես տարիներ առաջ հայտնել էին ԶԼՄ-ները, ավարտել է դպրոցը՝ ՔԿՀ-ում։
