Լրագրողները հայտնել են, որ Վաշինգտոնում՝ Սպիտակ տան մոտ կրակոցներ են լսվել։
«Երբ մենք Սպիտակ տանը էինք, լսեցինք շատ կրակոցներ։ Մեզ ասացին վազել մամուլի ճեպազրույցի սենյակ», – սոցիալական ցանցերում գրել է ABC News-ի լրագրողը։
«ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ի թղթակիցը պարզաբանել է, որ դեպքի վայր են ուղարկվել ոստիկանության և Ազգային գվարդիայի ստորաբաժանումներ։
«Բազմաթիվ իրավապահ ստորաբաժանումներ ամբողջությամբ փակել են քաղաքի կենտրոնի 17-րդ փողոցի երթևեկությունը, որտեղ, ըստ լրատվամիջոցների հաղորդագրությունների, տեղի է ունեցել կրակոցը։ Ոստիկանական մեքենաներ են տեղակայվել խաչմերուկներում, ինչպես նաև փակվել է հետիոտների երթևեկությունը կրակոցների վայրի ուղղությամբ», – նշել է նա։
DC News-ի լրագրողի խոսքով՝ Թրամփը միջադեպի պահին գտնվել է Սպիտակ տանը։
ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը ավելի ուշ հաստատել է, որ կիրակի օրը Սպիտակ տան մոտ տեղի ունեցած կրակոցների մեջ կասկածվողը սպանվել է Գաղտնի ծառայության գործակալների կողմից։
«Հրաձգություն կատարողը մահացել է Գաղտնի ծառայության գործակալների հետ Սպիտակ տան դարպասների մոտ փոխհրաձգությունից հետո», – հայտնել է Թրամփը իր Truth Social սոցիալական ցանցի էջում հրապարակված գրառման մեջ։
ԱՄՆ առաջնորդը նաև շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Գաղտնի ծառայությանը իրենց աշխատանքի համար։
ԱՄՆ գաղտնի ծառայությունը, կիրակի օրը «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ի հարցմանը ի պատասխան հայտնել է, որ միջադեպը տեղի է ունեցել Սպիտակ տան մոտ՝ Մոսկվայի ժամանակով ժամը 1:00-ի սահմաններում, երբ մի տղամարդ իր պայուսակից ատրճանակ է հանել և կրակ է բացել Փենսիլվանիա պողոտայի և 17-րդ փողոցի խաչմերուկում: Իրավապահ մարմինների աշխատակիցները պատասխանել են կրակոցներով՝ մահացու վիրավորելով կրակողին: Վիրավորվել է նաև մեկ անցորդ:
