2015թ. մայիսից սկսած՝ Արիելը նիհարել է 40 կիլոգրամով: Նա ներկայացրել է 17 քայլ, որոնք օգնել են նիհարելու ճանապարհին:
1. Նախ` ես միացա Weight Watcher ակումբին: Ողջ կյանքս ես հետևել եմ տարբեր դիետաների: Ահա այն երկու կարևոր սխալները, որոնք ես թույլ էի տալիս այդ ընթացքում՝ ինքս ինձ ասում էի՝ «վաղը կսկսեմ հետևել դիետային, իսկ այսօր կվայելեմ սիրելի ուտելիքները», ինքս ինձ զրկում էի սիրելի մթերքներից և ստիպում էի ինձ սառը հնդկահավ ուտել:
2. Ես դադարեցի հաշվել կալորիաները և սահմանափակել մթերքի կալորիականությունը և ուշադրությունս կենտրոնացրի առողջ ապրելակերպի վրա:
3. Ես հետևում էի այն 3 սովորական կանոններին, որոնք անհրաժեշտ են քաշի իջեցման համար՝ հետևել օգտագործվող սննդին, ֆիզիկական ակտիվություն ցուցաբերել և հսկել ջրի օգտագործման քանակը:
4. Ես սկսեցի իսկապես նախաճաշել և ոչ թե՝ մի միրգ ուտել:
5. Սկզբում ես սկսեցի քայլել և միանգամից մարզադահլիճ չգնացի:
6. Երբ դժվար էր լինում, ես չէի հանձնվում:
7. Ես դադարեցի ռեստորանից ուտելիք պատվիրել և ստիպում էի ինձ սիրելի ուտելիքները պատրաստել տանը՝ առողջ մթերքներից:
8. Ես շատ էի կարդում, և իմացա, թե որքան վտանգավոր է ավելորդ շաքարը, և քաղցրավենիքը փոխարինեցի մրգերով:
9. Ես իմացա, որ սպիտակուցը նիհարելու համար իսկական «հրեշտակ» է:
10. Ես սկսեցի հաղթանակներ տոնել, որոնք կապված են ոչ միայն՝ կշեռքին երևացող թվերի նվազման հետ:
11. Գեղեցիկ կառուցվածք ունենալու ճանապարհը սկսելուց 4 ամիս անց ես դադարեցի ալկոհոլ օգտագործել: Բայց դա տեղի ունեցավ ինքնուրույն, և ոչ թե՝ մտածված:
12. Երբ զգացի, որ պատրաստ եմ, սկսեցի հաճախել մարզադահլիճ և մի քանի բան փորձեցի:
13. Նիհարելու պատճառով ես չթողեցի իմ շրջապատը, այլ իմ սոցիալական կյանք մտցրի առողջ սնունդը:
14. Երբ ես ինձ զգում եմ այն նույն աղջիկը, ինչ 8 ամիս առաջ էի, նայում եմ մինչև նիհարելն ու դրանից հետո իմ լուսանկարները:
15. Ես սկսեցի շփվել նիհարողների խմբի այլ անդամների հետ, որպեսզի քաջալերեի նրանց, իսկ նրանք էլ ինձ էին քաջալերում:
16. Դժվար էր, բայց ես հրաժարվեցի իմ հին հագուստից:
17. Այժմ ես սովորում եմ սիրել ինձ:
