Ինչպես հաղորդում են Mundo Deportivo-ն և լրագրող Բեն Ջեյքոբսը, 25-ամյա ֆուտբոլիստի նկատմամբ լուրջ հետաքրքրություն են ցուցաբերում նաև Մյունխենի «Բավարիան» ու «Լիվերպուլը», որն էլ ավելի է ակտիվացրել իր ջանքերը վերջին օրերին։ Այնուամենայնիվ, անձամբ Գորդոնը նախապատվությունը տալիս է կատալոնական ակումբին։

Տրանսֆերը կյանքի կոչելու նպատակով՝ օրերս «բլաուգրանայի» մարզական տնօրեն Դեկուն՝ իր օգնականներ Բոյան Կրկիչի և Ժոաո Ամարալի ուղեկցությամբ, հատուկ այց է ունեցել։ «Բարսելոնայում» հույս ունեն հնարավորինս արագ ավարտին հասցնել գործարքը։

Շաբաթներ առաջ «Նյուքասլն» իր առաջատարներից մեկին գնահատում էր 85-90 միլիոն եվրո։ Ի սկզբանե Դեկուն կարծում էր, որ այս տրանսֆերը չափազանց թանկ կարժենա ակումբի համար, սակայն այժմ կատալոնական ճամբարում վստահ են, որ կկարողանան խաղացողի իրավունքները ձեռք բերել մոտ 70 միլիոն եվրոյի դիմաց։

Նշվում է նաև, որ Գորդոնի աշխատավարձի պահանջները լիովին տեղավորվում են իսպանական գրանդի բյուջեում, ինչը մեծացնում է տրանսֆերի իրականացման հավանականությունը։

Անգլիայի Պրեմիեր լիգայի ավարտված մրցաշրջանում Էնթոնի Գորդոնը մասնակցել է 26 հանդիպման՝ դառնալով 6 գոլի և 2 արդյունավետ փոխանցման հեղինակ։
