Իրաքի ամենաազդեցիկ իրանամետ շարժումներից մեկը՝ «Քաթաիբ Հեզբոլլահը», հայտարարել է, որ կշարունակի գործունեությունը՝ չնայած ԱՄՆ աճող ճնշմանը և Իրաքի իշխանությունների կոչերին՝ ոչ պետական կազմավորումների զինված գործունեությունը սահմանափակելու մասին, հայտնել է AFP-ն։

Շաբաթ օրը հրապարակված հայտարարության մեջ շարժման անվտանգության ծառայության ղեկավար Աբու Մուջահիդ ալ-Ասաֆը կազմակերպության գործունեությունն անվանել է «հավաքական պարտք» և ընդգծել, որ շարժումը կշարունակի կատարել իր խնդիրները, այդ թվում՝ այն դաշնակից խմբերի անունից, որոնք որոշել են հրաժարվել զինված ակտիվությունից։

Իրաքի վարչապետ Ալի ալ-Զաիդին, որը պաշտոնն ստանձնել է մայիսին, ավելի վաղ հայտարարել էր զենքի տնօրինման իրավունքը բացառապես պետության ձեռքում կենտրոնացնելու մտադրության մասին։ Սակայն «Քաթաիբ Հեզբոլլահը» մերժում է զինաթափման քննարկման հնարավորությունն այնքան ժամանակ, քանի դեռ օտարերկրյա զորքերը մնում են երկրի տարածքում։

Ալ-Ասաֆի խոսքով՝ շարժումը պատրաստ է մասնակցել այլ կազմավորումների սպառազինության փոխանցման և պահպանման վերահսկողությանը, ինչպես նաև պահպանության վերցնել բարդ տեսակի սպառազինությունը, ներառյալ թևավոր հրթիռները, որոնց շահագործումը պահանջում է հատուկ պատրաստվածություն։

Իրանի դեմ փետրվարի վերջին ամերիկա-իսրայելական պատերազմի սկսվելուց հետո «Իրաքի իսլամական դիմադրության» մեջ մտնող կազմակերպությունները բազմիցս անօդաչուներով և հրթիռներով հարվածներ են հասցրել ԱՄՆ-ի հետ կապված օբյեկտներին։ Ի պատասխան՝ Վաշինգտոնը հարվածել է զինված կազմավորումների բազաներին և օբյեկտներին, ներառյալ «Քաթաիբ Հեզբոլլահի» դիրքերը, ինչի հետևանքով զոհվել են նրա տասնյակ մարտիկներ։

Շարժումը նաև հայտարարել է, որ իր սպառազինության հարցը կարող է քննարկվել միայն Իրաքյան Քրդստանում ԱՄՆ գլխավորած միջազգային կոալիցիայի առաքելության ավարտից հետո։ Գործող ծրագրերի համաձայն՝ կոալիցիայի գործունեությունը տարածաշրջանում պետք է ավարտվի մինչև սեպտեմբեր։

Ավելի վաղ՝ մայիսին, ԱՄՆ պետդեպարտամենտի բարձրաստիճան ներկայացուցիչը Բաղդադից պահանջել էր ձեռնարկել «կոնկրետ քայլեր» իրանամետ զինված կազմավորումների նկատմամբ՝ ամերիկյան հետագա աջակցությունը կապելով պետական կառույցներից դրանց դուրսբերման և ֆինանսավորման դադարեցման հետ։
