Վերջին շրջանում քաղաքական դաշտում ակտիվորեն քննարկվում են ընտրական գործընթացների շուրջ իշխանությունների հնարավոր քայլերը։ Մասնավորապես, նախօրեին իշխանական թիմի ներկայացուցիչներից մեկը, անդրադառնալով տեղեկություններին, թե մինչև հունիսի 7-ը Ռուսաստանից Հայաստան կարող են ժամանել ավելի քան 100 հազար ՀՀ քաղաքացիներ, հայտարարել էր, որ նրանց մի մասի նկատմամբ կարող են կիրառվել վարժական հավաքների մեխանիզմներ։
Այս հայտարարությունը բազմաթիվ հարցեր է առաջացրել։ Մի կողմից, հերթական անգամ բանակն ու վարժական հավաքները ներկայացվում են որպես ճնշման կամ ազդեցության գործիք, մյուս կողմից՝ շրջանառվող տեղեկությունները վկայում են, որ խոսքը կարող է լինել ոչ միայն քաղաքական հայտարարության, այլև արդեն գործնականում կիրառվող մեխանիզմների մասին։
Մեր ունեցած տեղեկություններով՝ իշխանությունները քննարկում կամ արդեն իսկ իրականացնում են մի գործընթաց, որի շրջանակներում մինչև 55 տարեկան այն քաղաքացիները, որոնք Ռուսաստանից վերադառնում են Հայաստան, կարող են հրավիրվել 25-օրյա վարժական հավաքների։ Ըստ տարածվող գնահատականների՝ նման քայլի նպատակներից մեկը կարող է լինել ընտրական գործընթացների նկատմամբ առավել մեծ վերահսկողություն սահմանելը, ինչպես նաև որոշ քաղաքացիների՝ մինչև ընտրությունների օրը Հայաստան վերադառնալու ցանկության վրա ազդելը։
Քաղաքական շրջանակներում նաև կարծիքներ են հնչում, որ նման գործողությունները կարող են ընկալվել որպես կանխարգելիչ միջոց՝ սահմանափակելու կամ նվազեցնելու ընտրություններին մասնակցելու նպատակով Հայաստան ժամանողների թիվը։
Միևնույն ժամանակ, քննարկումների կենտրոնում է հայտնվել մեկ այլ հարց․ ինչո՞ւ են իշխանությունների ներկայացուցիչները ենթադրում, որ Ռուսաստանից Հայաստան վերադարձող քաղաքացիները հիմնականում իրենց ձայները կտան ընդդիմադիր ուժերին։ Այս հարցը շարունակում է մնալ առանց հստակ պատասխանի՝ դառնալով քաղաքական նոր բանավեճերի առարկա։
