Տարածքային կառավարման և ենթակառուցվածքների նախարար Դավիթ Խուդաթյանը վստահեցնում է, որ քաղաքացիները այս պահին գազի գնի թանկացման վերաբերյալ մտահոգվելու առիթ չունեն։ Իսկ թե ինչ կլինի հետո՝ նախարարը չի ասել։

«Գազի գնի հնարավոր փոփոխություն չկա, որովհետև մենք պայմանագիր ունենք, որի ժամկետը ձմռանից հետո է լրանում»,- հունիսի 11-ին ԱԺ-ում ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ ասել է ՏԿԵ նախարարը։

Ըստ Խուդաթյանի՝ Ռուսաստանը հիմք չունի միակողմանի խզել Հայաստանի հետ գազի մատակարարման շուրջ պայմանագիրը։

«Պայմանագիրը միակողմանի խզելու համար հիմքեր են պետք, մենք նորմալ աշխատում ենք, ստանում ենք գազն այն գնով, որով ստացել ենք, ստանում ենք այն գրաֆիկով, որով ստացել ենք։ Գործընկերների հետ շատ լավ հարաբերություններ ունենք, մեր աշխատանքային հարաբերություններում ոչինչ չի փոխվել։ Խնդրում եմ չստեղծել այնպիսի տպավորություն, որ Հայաստանում ավելի են շահագրգռված գազի գնի թանկացմամբ»,- ասել է նախարարը։

Խուդաթյանի խոսքով՝ Հայաստանի իշխանությունները բոլոր ռիսկերը կառավարում են, և պատկերն այնպիսին չէ, ինչպիսին հանրային տպավորությունն է։

Մայիսի վերջին Ռուսաստանի նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղար Դմիտրի Պեսկովը հայտարարել էր, որ Ռուսաստանը Հայաստանին արտոնյալի փոխարեն շուկայական գնով գազ կվաճառի, եթե Երևանը որոշի լքել Եվրասիական տնտեսական միությունը (ԵԱՏՄ)։ Միևնույն ժամանակ նա զգուշացրել է, որ պայմանները կփոխվեն, եթե Հայաստանն ընտրի այլ տնտեսական բլոկներ, ինչպիսին Եվրամիությունն է։
