Ներկայացնում ենք թերթի խմբագրականից մի հատված.

«Մեզանում պաշտոնյաների կամ պատգամավորների «էթիկա» հասկացությունն օգտագործվում է ոչ այն իմաստով, որով այդ նույն եզրը հասկանում են արտասահմանում։ Ենթադրենք, Շմայսը կամ Թոխմախի Մհերը, իրենց ստացած կրթության և դաստիարակության շրջանակներում, իրենց թույլ են տալիս արտահայտություններ, որոնք նրանք սովորաբար գործածում են քյաբաբնոցներում «պերերրվ անելիս»։ Մեզ մոտ դա դառնում է Աժ էթիկայի հանձնաժողովի քննարկման առարկա։ Արևմուտքում այդպես չէր լինի, եթե որևէ պատգամավոր անսանձ է և չի կարողանում չափավորել լեզուն, հասարակությունը, մամուլը նրանց դարձնում է թիրախ, և նրանք հաջորդ անգամ չեն ընտրվում։ Ոչ մի հանձնաժողովի նախատինք, ոչ մի կոմունիստական «ընկերական դատարան» նրանց պետք չէ։ Հայաստանում մարդիկ ընտրվում են և նշանակվում են ի հեճուկս հասարակական կարծիքի, և դրա համար նրանցով «զբաղվում է» էթիկայի հանձնաժողովը։

Իրականամ էթիկայի հանձնաժողովի խնդիրներն ավելի լուրջ են, դրանք այսպես կամ այնպես կապված են շահերի բախման և պետական պաշտոնյաների հասարակական վարքի հետ։ Եթե պաշտոնյան, ենթադրենք, բարձր դիրք է զբաղեցնում հարկային մարմիններում և միաժամանակ զբաղվում է գործարարությամբ, դա ակնհայտորեն շահերի բախում է, որով պետք է զբաղվի համապատասխան հանձնաժողովը։ Եթե նախարարն ունի երկու ծառայողական մեքենա, որոնք պետության հաշվին սպասարկում են իրեն (այդ թվում՝ ոչ աշխատանքային նպատակներով) և իր ընտանիքին, դա էթիկայի խախտում է։ Եթե պաշտոնյան պետական միջոցներով տոմս է առնում և գնում Դուբայ՝ հանգստանալու, դա էթիկայի հանձնաժողովի քննարկման առարկա է։ Ազգային ժողովում խոշոր սեփականատերեր են (ենթադրենք, օրենքը չեն խախտում և բիզնեսով չեն զբաղվում), եթե նրանք առաջարկում են նախագծեր, որոնք կնպաստեն իրենց այդ սեփականության բազմապատկմանը, ապա դա էթիկական խնդիր է։ Թե չէ՝ ինչ է Շուշան Պետրոսյանը գրել Ֆեյսբուքում՝ դրանով Աժ հանձնաժողովը, կարծում եմ,   չպիտի  զբաղվի»,–գրում է թերթի խմբագիրը։
