Իրանի հետ հարաբերությունները շատ ավելի լավն են, քան նախորդ վարչակազմերի օրոք էին, այս մասին գրել է ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը։

«Բարաք Հուսեյն Օբամայի Իրանի հետ կնքված համաձայնագիրը հեշտ, գեղեցիկ և հարթ ճանապարհ էր դեպի միջուկային զենք, որը Իրանը կունենար վեց տարի առաջ, և որը նրանք կօգտագործեին վաղուց։

Իմ համաձայնագիրն Իրանի հետ բոլորովին հակառակն է՝ ՊԱՏ ԴԵՊԻ ՄԻՋՈՒԿԱՅԻՆ ԶԵՆՔ։ Իրականում նրանք այլևս չեն ուզում միջուկային զենք և ձեռք չեն բերի այն գնման, մշակման կամ ձեռքբերման որևէ այլ միջոցով։

Համաձայնագրի ստորագրումը նախատեսված է վաղը, և ստորագրումից անմիջապես հետո Հորմուզի նեղուցը բաց կլինի բոլորի համար։

Մեր հարաբերություններն Իրանի հետ այժմ բոլորովին այլ են և շատ ավելի լավ, քան նախորդ վարչակազմերի օրոք էին։ Ի տարբերություն Օբամայի հարյուրավոր միլիարդավոր դոլարների վճարումների, այդ թվում՝ 1.7 միլիարդ դոլար կանխիկ, կանաչ թղթադրամներ, ոչ մի փող ձեռքից ձեռք չի անցնի։

Հարմար ժամանակին, երբ իրավիճակը հանդարտվի, մենք կգանք և կհավաքենք հզոր գրանիտե լեռների տակ խորը թաղված միջուկային փոշին՝ շնորհիվ մեր հրաշալի B-2 ռմբակոծիչների և նրանց հանճարեղ օդաչուների, իսկ հետո կաղքատացնենք և կոչնչացնենք այն՝ լինի դա Իրանում, թե Միացյալ Նահանգներում։

Մենք անհամբեր սպասում ենք Իրանի և ամբողջ Մերձավոր Արևելքի հետ համագործակցությանը երկար տարիներ։ Հուսով եմ, որ այս գործընթացը արագ, հեշտ և հարթ կլինի։ Հակառակ դեպքում, մենք ունենք բացարձակ այլընտրանք, որը, հուսով եմ, այլևս երբեք չի օգտագործվի»,-գրել է նա։
