Սպիտակ տանը պարահանդեսային դահլիճի կառուցման նախագիծը, որը նախաձեռնել է ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը, կարող է արժենալ մոտ 600 միլիոն դոլար, ընդ որում՝ գումարի ավելի քան կեսը նախատեսվում է ծածկել հարկատուների հաշվին, գրում է The Washington Post-ը։
Ավելի վաղ Թրամփը նախագծի արժեքը գնահատել էր 400 միլիոն դոլար և պնդում էր, որ այն ֆինանսավորվելու է մասնավոր նվիրատվությունների, դրանց թվում՝ իր սեփական միջոցների հաշվին։ Նոր դահլիճը դիտարկվում է որպես Սպիտակ տան նորացման նրա ծրագրի առանցքային տարրերից մեկը։
Պարբերականի տվյալներով՝ ծախսերի գնահատումը ներառված է այն փաստաթղթերում, որոնք Թրամփի վարչակազմի համար պատրաստել է նախագծի կապալառու Clark Construction ընկերությունը։
Ադ տվյալներով՝ նախնական փուլում՝ մարտին, նախագծի ընդհանուր բյուջեն արդեն գնահատվում էր 600 միլիոն դոլար, որից մոտ 293 միլիոնը պետք է ստացվեր մասնավոր աղբյուրներից։ Սակայն, ինչպես նշում է պարբերականը, նույն ժամանակահատվածում վարչակազմն արդեն հաստատել էր պետական միջոցներից տասնյակ միլիոնավոր դոլարների վճարումներ կապալառուին։
Ընդ որում, ավելի վաղ, երբ նախագիծը դեռ նոր էր քննարկվում, Թրամփը կողմնորոշիչ արժեքը նշում էր մոտ 200 միլիոն դոլար։
Վարչակազմի ներկայացուցիչները հայտարարում են, որ նախագիծը ֆինանսավորվում է մասնավոր դոնորների և հենց նախագահի հաշվին, իսկ պետական միջոցների օգտագործումը ֆինանսավորման հիմնական աղբյուր չէ։
Նախագիծը արժանացել է քաղաքական ընդդիմադիրների քննադատությանը, որոնք նման ծախսերը չափազանց մեծ են համարում։ Այն նաև դարձել է դատական քննության առարկա, որի ընթացքում դատարանը մարտին որոշում է ընդունել կասեցնել օբյեկտի վերգետնյա մասի շինարարական աշխատանքները, սակայն վերաքննիչ դատարանն այդ որոշումը ժամանակավորապես կասեցրել է։
Թրամփի վարչակազմը պնդում է, որ պարահանդեսային դահլիճի կառուցման անհրաժեշտությունն ավելի հրատապ է դարձել ապրիլին տեղի ունեցած միջադեպից հետո, երբ զինված տղամարդը փորձել էր ներխուժել ԱՄՆ նախագահի մասնակցությամբ միջոցառմանը։
