Ես չեմ կարում հասկանամ էն մարդկանց, ովքեր ասում են ազերիների դեմ թշնամանք մի սերմանեք, մեր գալիք սերնդին:
Թշնամանք չսերմանելու համար, պետքա այդ երկրի հետ բարեկամ լինես, կամ առնվազն պատերազմի մեջ չլինես: Մենք և Ադրբեջանը ոխերիմ թշամիներ ենք և ում սերունդը ավելի ուժեղ, ավելի մարտունակ և ավելի թշնամաբար տրամադրված եղավ, նա էլ այս պատերազմը կհաղթի, Հայաստանը և Ադրբեջանը երբեք չեն կարող լինել բարեկամներ, անկախ նրանից թե որքան ժամանակ կանցնի, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հարցը այդպես էլ կմնա օդում, բայց եթե մեր սերունդը մարտունակ և թշնամուն ճանաչող չեղավ ուրեմն մենք կարող ենք վստահ լինել, որ կորցնելու ենք Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը:
Ինձ շատ հետաքրքիրա, ոնց թշնամանքով չլցվենք ու թշնամանք չսերմանենք, երբ ամեն օր սահմանին, մեր ընկերոջը, մեր բարեկամին, մեր հարազատին և վերջին հաշվով նաև մեր ազգակցին են սպանում: Այսօր Գուրգեն Մարգարյանի մահվան օրն է, իսկ ուր է իրեն կացինով սպանած անձը? Ճիշտա Ադրբեջանում է և դարձել է ազգային հերոս, իսկ ուր է նայում արդարությունը և Հունգարիան? Իհարկե նաֆթին, Հունգարիան այդ ժամանակ ուներ լուրջ ֆինանսական խնդիներ և նա իր խնդիրը լուծեց Սաֆարովին հանձնելով Ադրբեջանին:
