«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

tass.ru-ն «Իտալիայի նախկին դեսպան. Հայաստանի ընտրություններն անցկացվել են խախտումներով և ԵՄ միջամտությամբ» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ հունիսի 7-ին Հայաստանում կայացած խորհրդարանական ընտրությունները նշանավորվել են ակնհայտ խախտումներով և ԵՄ-ի կողմից ակնհայտ միջամտությամբ։ Նման կարծիք է հայտնել Հայաստանում Իտալիայի նախկին դեսպան Բրունո Սկապինին tass.ru-ի հետ հարցազրույցում։

«Ես զարմացած չեմ արդյունքից, բայց չափազանց հիասթափված եմ, չնայած խախտումները սպասելի էին», - ասել է նախկին դիվանագետը։ Նա պնդել է, որ Եվրոպայի ուղղակի միջամտությունը բխում է այն փաստից, որ քվեարկությունից ընդամենը մեկ ամիս առաջ Երևանում տեղի է ունեցել Եվրոպական քաղաքական համայնքի գագաթնաժողով, որտեղ «շանտաժային հայտարարություններ» են արվել։ Նշվել է, որ այս ընտրությունների արդյունքները կարող են անմիջականորեն ազդել Հայաստանի և ԵՄ-ի հարաբերությունների վրա։ Սկապինին պնդում է, որ դա ծառայել է որպես «եվրոպական անվտանգության ցանց» Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի համար։

Գործակալության զրուցակիցը նաև նշել է, որ ընդդիմությունը, որին աջակցում է Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին, աճում է և բախվում է իշխանությունների կողմից հալածանքների և բռնաճնշումների։ «Փաշինյանը դիմում է ահաբեկչական մեթոդների ընդդիմությանը ճնշելու համար՝ օգտագործելով քրեական հետապնդումը, նաև ձերբակալություններ են տեղի ունեցել ընտրությունների նախօրեին», նշել է նախկին դեսպանը։ Նա նաև հատկանշական է համարել այն փաստը, որ Փաշինյանի ձայները կենտրոնացած են եղել ծայրամասերում, որտեղ ավելի հեշտ է մանիպուլացնել հասարակական կարծիքը: «Ես կարծում եմ, որ այս ընտրությունների արդյունքները պետք է բողոքարկվեն», - հավելել է նա։
