ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը չորեքշաբթի հայտարարել է, որ ակնկալում է, որ Մերձավոր Արևելքում պատերազմն ավարտող Իրանի հետ համաձայնագիրը կստորագրվի «մոտ ժամանակներս», սակայն հավելել է, որ հստակ ամսաթիվը դեռևս անորոշ է, հաղորդում է Ֆրանսպրես գործակալությունը։

«Գործարքը, որը մենք կիրակի օրը կնքեցինք Իրանի հետ, կստորագրվի մոտ ժամանակներս՝ վաղը (հինգշաբթի), հնարավոր է՝ հաջորդ օրը (ուրբաթ)»,- ասել է Թրամփը G7 գագաթնաժողովում՝ նախորդ այն հայտարարություններից հետո, թե ստորագրումը տեղի կունենա ուրբաթ՝ Շվեյցարիայում։

«Մենք, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, կստորագրենք գործարքը»,- հավելել է նա։

Թրամփը G7-ի ամփոփիչ մամուլի ասուլիսում լրագրողներին հայտարարել է, որ պատրաստ է «գրողի ծոցը ռմբակոծել» Իրանը, եթե այն խախտի համաձայնագիրը։

«Եթե նրանք իրենց պատշաճ չպահեն, նրանց կրկին հարված կհասցվի»,- ասել է նա։

Միևնույն ժամանակ նա հավելել է. «Նրանք չեն ցանկանում, որ իրենց ռմբակոծեն, նրանք չեն ցանկանում, որ իրենց հարվածեն»։

Թրամփը հիշեցրել է նաև փետրվարի 28-ի ավիահարվածի մասին, որի հետևանքով, ըստ նրա, զոհվել են գերագույն առաջնորդ այաթոլլա Ալի Խամենեին և այլ բարձրաստիճան անձինք, որոնք հարվածի պահին «նախաճաշում էին»։

Լրագրողները նրան հարցրել են նաև պատերազմի առաջին օրը Մինաբում իրանական դպրոցին հասցված մահացու հարվածի մասին, որի հետևանքով, իրանական իշխանությունների տվյալներով, զոհվել է 155 մարդ։

Սկզբում հարցն անվանելով «տարօրինակ»՝ Թրամփը հայտարարել է. «Ոչ ոք դա միտումնավոր չի արել։ Սխալներ լինում են, պատերազմը դաժան է»։

«Ես գիտեմ, որ դա հետաքննվում է»,- հավելել է նա՝ առաջարկելով այդ հարցով դիմել պաշտպանության նախարար Փիթ Հեգսեթին։

Ամերիկյան զինվորական հետաքննության նախնական եզրակացությունների տվյալներով, որոնք հրապարակել է The New York Times-ը, դպրոցին դիպչել է ԱՄՆ ռազմածովային ուժերի Tomahawk թևավոր հրթիռը՝ նշանառության սխալի պատճառով։

Թրամփը միաժամանակ շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինին և Չինաստանի նախագահ Սի Ծինփինին՝ Մերձավոր Արևելքում պատերազմում «չեզոքություն» պահպանելու համար։
