Շոգի հզոր ալիքն ընդգրկել է Եվրոպայի զգալի մասը՝ ստիպելով մի շարք երկրների իշխանություններին սահմանափակող միջոցներ կիրառել և արտակարգ նախազգուշացումներ հայտարարել ռեկորդային բարձր ջերմաստիճանների պատճառով, հաղորդել է Reuters-ը։

Ֆրանսիայում սպասվում է, որ 96 տարածաշրջանից 35-ում կհայտարարվի եղանակային վտանգի «կարմիր» մակարդակ։ Որոշ շրջաններում ջերմաստիճանը կարող է հասնել 39–41°C-ի՝ ներառյալ երկրի հարավ-արևմուտքը, Փարիզի շրջանը և Բուրգունդիան։ Իշխանությունները նախապես անցկացրել են ճգնաժամային խորհրդակցություն, որից հետո որոշել են ժամանակավորապես արգելել ալկոհոլի օգտագործումը զանգվածային միջոցառումների ժամանակ, այդ թվում՝ Fête de la Musique փառատոնի ընթացքում, որն անցկացվում է մի քանի տարածաշրջաններում։ Միևնույն ժամանակ, Փարիզում որոշվել է քաղաքային զբոսայգիները բնակիչների համար բաց պահել շուրջօրյա։

Գերմանիայում գործում են համազգային նախազգուշացումներ շոգի վերաբերյալ։ Ջերմաստիճանը մոտենում է 38°C-ի, իսկ օդերևութաբանական ծառայությունները նախազգուշացնում են, որ շոգի և բարձր խոնավության համադրությունը կարող է հանգեցնել ուժեղ ամպրոպների։

Իտալիայում 36–37°C հասնող շոգը էապես ազդում է առօրյա կյանքի և զբոսաշրջության վրա։ Հռոմում զբոսաշրջիկները ստիպված են հերթ կանգնել կիզիչ արևի տակ Կոլիզեումի մոտ, իսկ ոմանք փրկություն են փնտրում հին հուշարձանների ստորգետնյա զով տարածքներում։ Բոլոնիայում բնակիչները պատսպարվում են պատմական կամարաշարերի ստվերում և զովանում շատրվանների մոտ։

Իսպանիայում ծայրահեղ շոգի պատճառով ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիան փակել է Մադրիդի կենտրոնում գտնվող ֆան-գոտին, որտեղ նախատեսվում էր աշխարհի առաջնության խաղի հեռարձակումը, ինչի հետևանքով երկրպագուները ստիպված են այլընտրանքային դիտման վայրեր փնտրել։

Փորձագետները նշել են, որ կլիմայի փոփոխությունը շոգի նման ալիքները դարձնում է ավելի հաճախակի և ինտենսիվ՝ մեծացնելով բնակչության առողջության և տնտեսության համար վտանգները։ Ֆինանսական հաստատությունների ներկայացուցիչները նաև նախազգուշացնում են, որ շոգի կարճաժամկետ ազդեցությունը տնտեսության վրա միանշանակ չէ, սակայն երկարաժամկետ հեռանկարում ծայրահեղ ջերմաստիճանները կնվազեցնեն տնտեսական ակտիվությունը։
