Ռուս-հայկական համալսարանը փոխել է պաշտոնական անվանումը

Ռուս-Հայկական համալսարանի մամուլի ծառայությունը տեղեկացնում է կրթական կազմակերպության պաշտոնական անվանման փոփոխության մասին՝ կապված «Ռուս-Հայկական համալսարան» բարձրագույն կրթության միջպետական կրթական կազմակերպության կանոնադրության ստորագրման հետ։
Համալսարանի տարածած հաղորդագրության մեջ ասվում է. «Նոր կանոնադրության ստորագրումը կարևոր փուլ է համալսարանի զարգացման և նրա գործունեությունը կարգավորող արդիական նորմատիվ-իրավական բազայի ձևավորման գործընթացում։
Փաստաթուղթը ստորագրել են Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության գիտության և բարձրագույն կրթության նախարարի տեղակալ Կոնստանտին Մոգիլևսկին և Հայաստանի Հանրապետության կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի և սպորտի նախարարի տեղակալ Արթուր Մարտիրոսյանը։
Կանոնադրությամբ սահմանվում են Ռուս-Հայկական համալսարանի՝ որպես միջպետական կրթական հաստատության իրավական կարգավիճակը, կառավարման համակարգը և գործունեության հիմնական սկզբունքները: Կանոնադրության հաստատման շրջանակում ճշգրտվել է նաև համալսարանի պաշտոնական անվանումը։
Կրթական կազմակերպության նոր պաշտոնական անվանումն է.
ռուսերեն՝ Межгосударственная образовательная организация высшего образования "Российско-Армянский университет"
հայերեն՝ «Ռուս-Հայկական համալսարան» բարձրագույն կրթության միջպետական կրթական կազմակերպություն
անգլերեն՝ Interstate Educational Organization of Higher Education "Russian-Armenian University"։
Անվանման փոփոխությունն արտացոլում է համալսարանի առանձնահատուկ միջպետական կարգավիճակը, որը ստեղծվել և գործունեություն է ծավալում Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության և Հայաստանի Հանրապետության համագործակցության շրջանակում։ Նոր անվանումն առավել ամբողջական կերպով ընդգծում է համալսարանի իրավական բնույթը, առաքելությունը և երկու պետությունների միասնական կրթական ու գիտական տարածքի զարգացման գործում նրա դերը։
Նոր կանոնադրությունը հնարավորություն կտա ավարտին հասցնել համալսարանի նորմատիվային բազայի արդիականացման գործընթացը և լրացուցիչ հնարավորություններ կստեղծի համալսարանի հետագա զարգացման համար, այդ թվում՝ Ռուսաստանի և Հայաստանի միջև գիտակրթական համագործակցության ամրապնդման ուղղությամբ։
Միևնույն ժամանակ համալսարանը պահպանում է իր պատմական ժառանգականությունը, ակադեմիական ավանդույթները, կրթական ծրագրերը, միջազգային գործընկերությունները և գործունեության ռազմավարական ուղղությունները։
