Ալյասկայում կայացած գագաթնաժողովում ՌԴ և ԱՄՆ նախագահներ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը և Դոնալդ Թրամփը քննարկել են Ուկրաինայի վերաբերյալ Վաշինգտոնի առաջարկները, որոնք ընդունվել են ռուսական կողմից, ուստի ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Մարկո Ռուբիոյի կողմից Անքորիջում իբրև թե որևէ համաձայնագիր չլինելու մասին խոսելը այնքան էլ տեղին չէ: Այս մասին հայտարարել է ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը։

«Երբ իմ գործընկեր Մարկո Ռուբիոն ասում է, որ Ալյասկայում եղել են միայն առաջարկներ, իսկ համաձայնագիր չի եղել, դա ինձ մոտ հարց է առաջացնում այն առումով, թե ինչ ենք մենք հասկանում համաձայնագիր ասելով։ Եթե մի կողմը, այս դեպքում՝ ԱՄՆ-ը, սեղանին է դրել կարգավորման վերաբերյալ իր առաջարկները, այն մասին, թե ինչպես մոտենալ այս ճգնաժամին, իսկ երկրորդ կողմը հայտնել է իր համաձայնությունը այդ առաջարկներին, ապա ասել, որ համաձայնություն չի եղել, ինչ-որ կերպ այնքան էլ տեղին չի ստացվում»,- ասել է Լավրովը լրագրողներին։

Սերգեյ Լավրովը կոչ է արել պարզություն մտցնել Ուկրաինայում հակամարտության կարգավորման գործում ԱՄՆ-ի դերի վերաբերյալ իրավիճակում:

«Իհարկե, հարկավոր է պարզություն մտցնել այս ամբողջ իրավիճակի մեջ։ Բայց փաստը մնում է փաստ՝ Ալյասկայում քննարկվել են ԱՄՆ-ի առաջարկները, որոնք ընդունվել են ռուսական կողմից»,- ասված է Լավրովի մեկնաբանության մեջ։

Ավելի վաղ Ռուբիոն հայտարարել էր, որ ՌԴ և ԱՄՆ նախագահներ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը և Դոնալդ Թրամփը Անքորիջում կայացած հանդիպմանը վերջնական պայմանավորվածությունների չեն հասել Ուկրաինայում կարգավորման վերաբերյալ։ Պետդեպարտամենտի ղեկավարի խոսքով՝ Ալյասկայում համաձայնագիր չի եղել, Ալյասկայում եղել է առաջարկ։
